No!
I bought this from a different store than Lyko, if I remember correctly. I start with the packaging. Lavera usually has this tube for many of their products. I've seen this tube with many brands in the lower price range. The lid doesn't really want to close, and it's tricky to get it closed if at all. The hole is big, so of course a lot of product comes out, which in turn becomes impractical in the long run. A lot of product ends up in your hand, and if you're not quick to start applying it, clumps will fall from you and down into the shower because the more compact gel formula doesn't dissolve quickly enough, unless you're The Flash himself. Really eco-conscious thinking there! And a lot of value for the money. I'm frustrated. Water (aqua) is listed first, which means this ingredient is the most prevalent. We can get water from our taps. And it's also water that makes a product run out quickly. I often don't understand all these eco-brands that exist nowadays. Bring out more concentrated products. It's not economical or particularly environmentally friendly to have a lot of water in a skincare product. I do know why they put a lot of water in. It makes a product cheaper! This is a shower scrub. I'm not particularly fond of this kind of scrubs. They're neither fish nor fowl. I was curious about this one. Ha! I got fooled. You have to use quite a bit. Or rather, you don't have much choice since a lot comes out from the start. The hole is of the larger kind. The product is a dark green, creamier, firmer gel formula with grains. Shower scrubs often have too few grains for my taste. This one had a bit more than the ones I've tried in my life, but not enough for me to think it's worth using this kind of shower product. You'll run out of this quickly. Every section of your body will need a 'sausage'. It feels quite soft and creamy when you apply/rub/massage it in. It exfoliates so-so. I don't notice any particular scent. A plus! However, it's not creamy enough, the formula doesn't contain enough fatty ingredients to be suitable for someone who tends to have dry skin. I would advise you against buying this if you have drier skin. Water has a drying effect on the skin. And again, you shower yourself and use water from the shower and tap. So double drying. I now have mature skin and tend to have drier areas even though I've had and have combination skin. I don't like how this feels to use or the feeling afterward. Don't throw your money in the sea. Buy something else. I believe that possibly a young individual with normal skin and no skin concerns might benefit from this shower scrub.1 views
