Nice pen with good function
I got to test L'Oreal's Infallible Faux Brow Pen in the color dark blonde. I have very thin brows but many hairs, so it was a bit tricky on my brows. I think it looks nicer on someone who has more ”flat” brows. I liked the color and it was easy to use despite having two strokes. I was surprised at how incredibly well it stays on and still easy to wash off when it was time to remove all the makeup. Cool product
I think it's a cool product, but in my opinion, as someone who is not a beauty professional, it's hard to get it right. It doesn't look nice on me, and this is not a product I will continue to buy. It’s a bit tricky to get the hang of if you’re not a makeup pro, but after a few tries it feels easier to use and gives pretty, hair-like details. I’m definitely going to keep using it! Natural Result
The brow pencil is a felt-tip pen with dual ends. The tip is very thin, making it easy to create strokes that actually look like brow hairs. The shade Dark Blonde is a cool lighter taupe. The result was extremely natural as the color was quite identical to my natural brow color. The brows held the color all day regardless of the weather, which gives this brow pencil top marks! The downside is that the pencil sometimes needed to be "recharged" by holding the tip straight down for the color to flow into the tip. It wasn't something that bothered me if I was quick with the application. I got to test this brow pencil that is incredibly good! I have very light eyebrows and I have little hair, which results in my eyebrows being barely visible. I usually use brow pencils, which don’t look that good as they appear fake. That’s why I love this pencil that has two small "strands" that are easy to apply and can be built up on the eyebrows you have. The color of the pencil holds incredibly well but is not hard to remove when you finally take off your makeup. I really like this product and can truly recommend it! Very precise product!
I have tried this product in the color "Dark blonde". The color is quite dark, so my recommendation is to rather choose a lighter than a darker shade if you feel unsure! The brush has very high precision! It is very thin and has two small brush tips. The consistency of the product is like a liquid eyeliner. When you paint, it creates two hair-like strokes at a time! If you want to draw one line at a time, you can angle the pen/brush the other way! I have quite sparse brows, so this technique of mimicking brow hairs rather than filling in the brow with a color works very well for me! It looks very natural! You have to be a bit careful and light-handed; if you apply too much, it’s hard to remove, the product stays on very well. The first few times before I learned the technique and got familiar with the applicator, I had to start over a couple of times, I applied too much! But after a few uses, I know how much/little is needed for a good and natural result! It's nice not to have to sharpen a pencil, and the result lasts long! Not for me
I had the honor of testing this product in the color Light Brunette, which was the absolutely right color for me. The applicator also leaves realistic lines that blend well into my own strands. However, the product sits like a rock, so I really need to know where I should place my lines. This significantly lowers the rating. I think an eyebrow pencil should allow for correcting mistakes with a cotton swab. For some, this might raise the rating, but I prefer a setting spray to keep my makeup lasting all day. Pretty okay
I have tested L'Oréal's faux brow pen and think it's pretty okay. It's easy to use and the color fills in the eyebrows. The pen has two strands at the front that are a bit far apart, maybe they should be a bit closer together. But the color stays well and it serves its purpose. I am really satisfied with this eyebrow pencil! It has a perfect consistency – neither too soft nor too hard – which makes it easy to apply with precision without smudging. Hard to achieve an even application
This pencil has 2 strokes that create fine lines, but since I don't have much in the way of eyebrows from the start, I have to apply quite a bit, and it becomes hard to achieve a nice result, but I also have no practice in drawing eyebrows, so it might be a matter of practice.
