Made to stay? That must be a joke.
Unfortunately, I completely didn’t get along with this base. Nothing stays on it, and I really gave it a lot of chances. I tried with matte shadows, glittery, semi-liquid, and even pencil shadows. I tried applying it over skincare, and I also tried applying it directly on the eyelid without any previous products. And absolutely every time the effect was exactly the same. 🥲 After a few, ten to twelve blinks and a bit of normal “eye movement,” the makeup starts to move, disappear, and gather in the creases. Seriously, just blink a little and the eye makeup is practically ready to be removed. 😂 I don’t know where the promised Grip to Last is, because I definitely don’t have it. Unfortunately, a big NO. Doesn't last
I wanted to like this and gave it many chances with different eyeshadows and application methods. At first, it seems good, and the colorless sticky primer brings out the eyeshadow pigments and shimmer beautifully. But after 30 minutes, the eyeshadows start to separate and crease. I have heavy and oily eyelids. For dry skin and different eye shapes, this might work, but there are better options on the market. Thank you for sharing your experience! 💗 It's such a shame that the primer didn't work as you had hoped, especially that it stung so much upon application. The eye area is sensitive, and even though the product is designed for use around the eyes, individual reactions to some of the ingredients can occur. It seems this one really didn't suit you, which could be due to an individual sensitivity to something in the formula. Does not work well for people with oily skin
Unfortunately did not work for me at all, it gets patchy and eyeshadow separates and settles in the creases fairly quickly. Does not hold for long on my oily eyelids even after setting it as I usually do with other primers. Will probably work very good on people who have skin on the drier side, as it held up pretty well on the back of my hand and my wrist.543 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. Difficult to use
Very affordable but difficult to use, it easily becomes too much product so the makeup then "crumbles". It can sometimes be a bit of a balancing act with the amount – a thin, even layer usually goes a long way to give the shadows grip.
