Awesome product
I have now tested this foundation and am pleasantly surprised. I love the color and its covering matte result. I applied a thin layer, and it covered well; if you want more coverage, you can apply more. It can get a bit oily on the face, but with this product, I have stayed shine-free all day. Light but covering!
I have tested this foundation as a test pilot via Smartson and really like it! The consistency is thin and light, which makes it feel lovely on the skin. Even though it is so light, it provides surprisingly good coverage – it evens out the skin tone nicely without feeling heavy or cakey. The result is natural and stays fresh throughout the day. Lovely formula but poor color selection!
The formula has a natural finish and works well on my combination skin. Lasts all day even during workouts! The downside is that the color oxidizes and becomes very dark. I tested the lightest cool color, and it is very dark and orange on me, who is light-skinned (see picture). I rarely use the lightest colors in foundations, but this one is even too dark for me.. Lovely formula that covers nicely
Light formula that is easy to work with. Covers nicely, doesn't get cakey, you can apply more if you want a more covering effect. The picture doesn't do the product justice, I should have maybe chosen a different shade for me or applied a bit on my neck as well, and maybe added some blush or something. Will use again! Soft feel and just the right coverage
I have tested Maybelline Superstay Lumi Matte foundation: shade 115 as a test pilot. This foundation had a good consistency that I like, more on the runny side. I chose to apply it with a sponge and took about 4 pumps to achieve a medium coverage result. It was easy to apply, and I like that it felt light on the skin. I feel like I had to use quite a bit of product to get a good result, so one star less because it didn’t feel that economical for me and needed to be built up. After application, it still feels light and soft against the skin, a good feeling afterwards without dryness or greasiness. I also think it held up very well and I didn’t experience any dryness over time, despite the matte feel. Maybelline superstay foundation
A foundation that gives a glow while being covering. The product feels very pleasant on the skin. Good foundation! I find that this is easy to build coverage with without it becoming too dry. I with acne-prone skin used 2 layers which I thought covered just the right amount. Sure, it has disappeared a bit throughout the day, but the most important thing for me is that it doesn't become dry, and on that point, it is absolutely approved! I was positively surprised as matte foundations often tend to become too dry. I also thought it felt light on the skin and that it was easy to apply with a brush. The only negative I have to say is that it disappears a bit during the day. I have normal skin with some dry areas, so it can be difficult sometimes to find a good foundation. I was a bit hesitant about Lumi-Matte from Maybelline. But it actually turned out great! The foundation is easy to apply, and it gives a nice and natural finish on the skin. It is also easy to build up. In the evening, I can experience some dry areas, but they are not very noticeable.
