The container looks like and is sized like nail polish, and the applicator is like for lip gloss. But unlike lip gloss, the formula is much more "watery," so think more "watercolor paint." π€£ Easy to apply with the applicator itself, another brush, or even a finger. The color is nice and gives a natural rosy tone, but the formula is very watery and can be difficult to apply evenly on the lips.
