Nice on the lips but the applicator is so-so
Nice! Based on the name, I expected something different; this feels more like a lip gloss than a lip oil in my opinion. 😊 However, I do like the product. The shade I chose was very pigmented and gave a lot of color. The consistency feels a bit thicker upon application but is very comfortable on the lips. The product is not sticky or anything like that, and you forget you have it on. 🙏 However, the applicator gets minus points. Not like in the picture
I bought the color 02 because in the pictures it looked like it only had a little pigment and would just give a slight pink tint on the lips. But as soon as I opened the package, I was disappointed because it really didn’t look like in the pictures. And even worse when I compared the lip gloss with the pictures here on Lyko where they show how it should look on the lips. It did not meet my expectations so I was really disappointed. I loooove to hate the applicator, it’s so clunky and you have to press harder than I prefer to get the product out. Then there’s something about the smell that just throws me off. Good product, bad packaging
Really like the color and how it feels on✨ Would probably not call it a typical lip oil, but a lip gloss that is not sticky. A lot of colour!
A very nice lip oil but richer in colour that I thought. I always need to “bite” a paper after applying it otherwise it’s waay to bright red. New favorite in my bag😌💗✨
Why is this a new favorite in my bag? Well, because… 1. It smells good – not too sweet and NOT mint – something lip oils often do that I dislike😌 2. Gives INCREDIBLE shine without feeling sticky💗 3. The lip oil not only gives shine but also provides moisture 4. Easy to apply and you don’t need much to achieve results✨ 5. Works well with my lip liners, like comes naturally from Kylie Cosmetics (I miss the color on the applicator). Also works well with Nyx lip stains (which don’t transfer, I’ll write a separate review on these) 🤝🏼 The only thing to watch out for with the product is that when I open it, I twist it out gently because if you pull it out quickly, a clump of lip oil can fly off. The applicator is also very large, but I don’t feel it ruins anything, though I might prefer it in a slightly smaller size. Maybe also better packaging?
