I understand that it can be frustrating when the By Lyko Blending Sponge seems to absorb a lot of product 🩷 However, a makeup sponge can behave differently depending on how it is used. To get a more even result, it can help to dampen the sponge and squeeze it out so that it is moist (not wet), apply the base in thin layers, and work with light "bouncing" motions instead of applying a lot of product directly onto the sponge. Regular cleaning can also help the sponge perform better over time. Hope this can help you get a result that feels better 😍

Leaves your makeup looking like your skin

Not the best
I wanted to like this beauty blender, but it just didn't perform the way I expected it to. The sponge felt a bit too firm, even after dampening, and it didn't help blend my products evenly and it actually moved the products around and left patchy areas on my face. It isn't the worst tool I've tried and it's a pretty sponge with the purple and white marbled effects which is why I'm giving it two stars but overall it didn’t make my makeup routine any easier and I actually found myself reaching for my other beauty blender to fix what this one couldn't do.
