Lip Care Mentha is a protecting and softening lip balm with Peppermint Oil, which feels cool and refreshing on the lips.

Lip Care helps your lips retain moisture, contributing to the reduction of fine lines around the mouth. It is very nourishing, ample and long-lasting, which makes it effective on dry and cracked lips.

The lips are exceptionally exposed to cold and windy conditions, and their skin is very thin, with only 3–5 layers of skin cells, compared to 15 layers on the rest of the body. The skin on the lips may also have difficulty producing enough oil, especially if you have used mineral oil on your lips previously.

We use plant-based oils instead of mineral oils, such as vaseline, paraffin and petroleum, which can be found in most other skincare products. Mineral oils dehydrate the skin and provide no vitamins. While plant based oils are more expensive, they nourish and protect the skin. It might take a few weeks to wean the skin off mineral oil; the amount of time needed depends on how long and how much you have been using it.

As the pollen has been extracted from the Beeswax we use in Lip Care, these products can be used by people who are allergic.

The product contains natural self preservatives.

Use:
Have you been using lip balm with mineral oil? Then start by massaging the lips with AHA & Jojoba Peeling to remove dry skin flakes. Rub gently, with circular motions. Then apply Lip Care Mentha.
Apply Lip Care before using Lip Care Colour or Lip Gloss.
