very nice mascara😍
The pictures show my lashes before application, with one coat and with two coats of mascara! Light and absolutely incredible if you want to achieve "thin" and natural lashes! If you want to build up with multiple layers, I probably prefer other mascaras, but this one was nice and light. But oh....
This is supposed to give lots of volume and build up the lashes and hold for up to 24 hours. A good everyday mascara if you have slightly shorter lashes, this unfortunately transfers to the eyelids which is unfortunately a no deal for me. I like the brush, I like that it’s so easy to work with and the lashes look really nice BUT.... I panic that it transfers to the skin, then you think about it all the time if you have black on your eyelids. Affordable absolutely Sleek and pretty packaging Love the brush! But no. So incredibly frustrating when everything was so good Would I buy it again? 🖤 Lashes with lots of volume 🖤
Maybelline Lash Sensational Body Mascara in Very Black is truly a mascara I like when I want my lashes to have a bit more wow factor. I think mascara can do an incredible amount for the whole makeup, and when I want more defined eyes, it’s often the lashes I focus on a bit extra. ✨ What caught my attention with this one is mainly the volume. I like when the lashes get a fuller look and really stand out, especially when I do a slightly more glamorous makeup. At the same time, I like being able to build up the effect step by step instead of having a very dramatic result right away. I usually start with one coat and work through the lashes thoroughly. Then I add another coat if I want more intensity. 🥰 This allows me to use it for both a fairly simple everyday look and a more defined evening makeup. I especially think it goes well with eyeliner or a bit darker eyeshadow when I want the eyes to really pop. Very Black is also a big favorite of mine. 🖤 I love a really black mascara because it immediately gives more definition to the lashes and makes the gaze feel more prominent. Even when the rest of the makeup is quite toned down, I think black, defined lashes can make all the difference. I also appreciate that the brush makes it relatively easy to work through the lashes. I want to be able to reach both the bigger lashes and the smaller ones at the outer corner of the eye without struggling with the application. Once you get the technique down, it’s quick to achieve the result you want. 👀✨ What I like the most is actually how versatile it feels. Some days I want a more natural result, and then one coat is enough, while other days I like to build up plenty of volume. That’s exactly the kind of mascara I appreciate having in my makeup bag. Maybelline Lash Sensational Body is simply a really good option when I want to give my lashes more fullness, intensity, and a clearly black color. Not for me
I already know I appreciate mascaras that give me a lot of length and separation. Usually if something is marketed more as a volumising product, it's not going to be for me. But I had to give this one a try, because sometimes you just gotta try something new. If I curl my lashes beforehand and apply just a tiny bit, I do get the lifted look that the product promises. However the lashes do end up falling down, which is not a problem I usually have! If I try to build this up for some more length, the lashes just get clumpy, weighed down and look messy. I never get any significant length with this. It is reasonably easy to wash off with just my usual cleanser and water. But given how messy the application is and how the results are just not that impressive, I won't be using this very much. At first glance, the mascara looks luxurious. Really like the packaging. Stays put like a rock and doesn’t bother my sensitive contact lens-wearing eyes all day. Separates really well. This will be my go-to this summer when it’s sun and swimming. Crumbles a lot

The comment was made 6 monthsHi Ulrica Alicia 💛 Crumbing and smudging can be really annoying, but try thoroughly degreasing your lashes before applying mascara and avoid oily creams on your eyelids during the day. Thin layers that are allowed to dry properly and a bit of translucent powder under the eyes can also help. Otherwise, you can try a mascara like Clinique Lash Power or Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High, which usually stays better without crumbling 🥰3 likes

Really bad
Barely holds any product on the lashes. It's almost impossible to build up at all. Kind of false advertising with the name "body" when the lashes were completely thin and messy afterwards. I have tested the Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara for a while and think it gives a very nice result on my lashes. The brush is slim and flexible, making it easy to apply the mascara and reach even the small lashes in the corners of my eyes. I find that the lashes are well separated and do not clump together, which makes the result feel even and natural. What I like most is that you can build up the result by applying several layers without the lashes feeling heavy. The mascara provides both length and a bit of volume, and the lashes look more open and defined after application. It works well for everyday use since the result looks nice without feeling too dramatic. Throughout the day, the mascara usually stays in place, but I noticed that it can flake a bit if you touch your eyes a lot. Despite that, I think it’s a good mascara that gives a nice and natural result and is easy to use. Packaging is WOW
I loved the packaging! It’s so pretty, doesn’t look like a budget packaging at all. When I finally opened it for the first time, I did experience the product to be a bit dry, but when I started applying the product on my lashes, I didn’t feel at all that the product was dry, it separates well, gives length. What I didn’t like was the brush itself, I’m so used to the regular brushes and I’ve been using Maybelline mascaras my whole life and I’m satisfied. The durability is good, it doesn’t flake, lasts all day with lift in the lashes. Would I buy the product again? Nah, I don’t think so, I’ll go for other Maybelline mascaras because of the brush.
