Great and unique shampoo!
Scent: smells like grape or grape bubblegum Color: very dark purple and black This shampoo is really unique. Instead of the usual blue and purple pigments, we get almost black and extremely dark purple pigments. It's going to give the hair a really ashy appearance. This would work best on lighter hair, but I used it on my roots. The roots are quite orange-golden, but a bit darker, maybe a level 7 or 8. I knew this shampoo wouldn't work as well on hair that isn't light blonde, but I wanted to give it a try anyway. I have attached photos of the difference after one wash. The hair does look a tiny bit more cool toned, and really shiny! As a shampoo it's really nice. Lathers up well, smells fresh and leaves the hair feeling really clean. What is the difference between this and milkshake silver shine light? I'm unsure which one to choose. I have quite dark blonde hair that I've bleached a few times and now have a slightly darker regrowth. A standard in my bathroom
My hairdresser recommended this to me, and since then I've used it 2-3 times a month when I feel like my hair has started to get too warm/orange/yellow! It really works!! And it doesn't dry out the hair too much like other silver shampoos can do. The conditioner that goes with this is almost better than the shampoo, I would say🫣 it makes the hair so soft and hydrated! I love the duo! I've had highlights and colored hair, and I find that the milkshake products are really good! What a fantastic shampoo! ❤️ I have gray hair, and have long been on the hunt for silver shampoo that gives a more ashy, yet clear tone. I've tried most things without any significant results. The hair remains quite warm and dull. The only thing I've had that I've been relatively satisfied with has been Kevin Murphy's color conditioner cool blonde. But now, indeed! I bought shampoo and conditioner on a whim, and judge my surprise when the hair became cool and ashy! I let the shampoo sit for about 5 minutes. The hair felt a bit straw-like and dry afterwards, but became soft as silk from the conditioner. I have brown color-treated hair. Naturally dark blonde/light brown. The regrowth has become yellowish when I've tried to color it afterward. Blue shampoo (Redken) made my hair orange, but the yellow went away. I don't think the blue conditioner (Matrix) works. Additionally, I use the leave-in spray from Matrix. Still orange/red undertones. Now looking at silver hair masks, but then I came across this and see it has really good reviews. What happens if this is used on brown color-treated hair? I've never really liked silver shampoo because I barely saw a difference or my hair turned purple and dry, and I've still used Kerastase silver shampoo, Fudge yeah all the ones many recommend.
