Works really well
Works really well to get the hair cool if that's what you want, but it has a bit more difficulty removing yellow tones, but I would still highly recommend it6735 viewsto leave a comment - Most helpful negative3 weeksRating: 1 out of 5verified customer

Brown Hair
I have brown color-treated hair. Naturally dark blonde/light brown. The regrowth has become yellowish when I've tried to color it afterward. Blue shampoo (Redken) made my hair orange, but the yellow went away. I don't think the blue conditioner (Matrix) works. Additionally, I use the leave-in spray from Matrix. Still orange/red undertones. Now looking at silver hair masks, but then I came across this and see it has really good reviews. What happens if this is used on brown color-treated hair? Will I get a cooler tone (desired) or is there a risk that the hair will become very dark?91 views- Skin therapist at Lyko4 daysHi Celine! This is a shampoo that is supposed to remove warm tones in blonde hair. In your case, I think I might have looked for a toning❤️ It can be difficult to recommend the right toning/hair color online because the result is influenced by many factors – like your natural hair color, previous treatments, hair quality, and desired result. Pictures and descriptions often do not provide a complete picture, and small nuances can make a big difference. For the best result, we recommend visiting a hairdresser. They can assess your hair in person and tailor the color to your needs and wishes. Have a nice day😍

Awesome!!!
I've never really liked silver shampoo because I barely saw a difference or my hair turned purple and dry, and I've still used Kerastase silver shampoo, Fudge yeah all the ones many recommend. But this WOW what a difference, it's like all the yellow disappeared in 2 minutes and my hair became evenly cool! I really recommend this to everyone!226 viewsto leave a comment - 2 monthsRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Best shampoo for blonde hair!
I have tried many different shampoos for blonde hair and this one is the best! It doesn't leave purple streaks like some others. If you REALLY want cool hair, then this is for you! And the scent +++ 😍1532 viewsto leave a comment - 2 months
Gray Hair
Can you use the black on gray hair?1665 views- Customer service at Lyko2 monthsHi! 😊 Yes, you can definitely use milk_shake Icy Blond Shampoo on gray hair! 💜 It is designed to neutralize warm tones and remove yellow hues, which can also be helpful for gray or silver hair to give a cooler and clearer tone. Just be a little careful with the processing time at first, as gray hair can be more porous and therefore absorb pigments faster. Start with a short processing time (1–3 min) and gradually increase if necessary💜

Black hair with blonde highlights
I have like dark brown/black hair as a base but a lot of bleached/highlights that are a bit yellow/orange-ish. How long should I let the shampoo and conditioner sit? I also have the Ica blonde conditioner.2104 views- Customer service at Lyko3 monthsHey! 🥰👋 It’s definitely very individual how long, but I would let both the shampoo and conditioner have their processing time, or how much time you have in the shower! 😄 But a good rule of thumb is shampoo for 1-5 min and conditioner for 3-5 min! If you have very dry hands, gloves can be a good idea for the shampoo since it is very pigmented ❤1 likes

Black everywhere
It stains both the shower curtain, shower walls, and cuticles!! For this reason, I give the shampoo one star.2223 views- Customer service at Lyko3 monthsHey Mel! 🥰 Thank you for your review! Since there is black pigment in this, it can unfortunately transfer ❤ I hope you have a good cleanser that can remove the color, and it might be a good idea to use gloves when using products with pigments in them. Hope you find it useful until it runs out 🥰 Have a nice day!

Result
Hey, the result is that the hair gets even cooler and holds better if you use both the conditioner and shampoo in this series.2566 views- Customer service at Lyko5 monthsHey Cissi! 👋 Most of the time, you'll get better results by using the whole series, and you could definitely use both their conditioner and shampoo! 😍🤞 If you want to add a bit more moisture to the lengths, then bleached hair tends to soak up all the nourishment it can get, this conditioner could be something: lyko.com/sv/har/harvard/schampo-balsam/conditioner/milk-shake-moisture-plus-conditioner-250-ml Take care!1 likes

Brown hair
Hey! I can clearly see that this shampoo is for blonde hair, but I still wonder if it’s completely pointless to try it on colored brown hair or if it’s worth a shot? I generally like Milkshake's products, see that this shampoo has significantly better reviews than the silver shampoo that is for brown hair. I have colored brown hair that is also toned to be a cool shade, but I struggle with maintenance between colorings and want to counteract the coppery tones that arise.2930 views- Former employee5 monthsHey Caroline! 👋🏻☺️ It's not completely pointless to try, but Icy Blond Shampoo is tailored for lighter hair and contains blue and violet pigments, which primarily neutralize yellow tones. To tone down coppery tones in brown hair, a blue shampoo is more effective than a purple one. If you like Milk_Shake, you can try their Cold Brunette Shampoo (lyko.com/sv/milk-shake/milk_shake-cold-brunette-shampoo-300-ml), which is specifically formulated for brown hair with warm tones 🌞 Take care! ✨🩷

Highly pigmented and smells incredible
This is the best purple shampoo I’ve bought. It smells just like berries and is really good for counteracting brassiness. I have to be careful not to leave it on too long because it’s so fast acting and effective.5250 viewsto leave a comment - 10 monthsRating: 5 out of 5
