Instead of the usual blue and purple pigments, we get almost black and extremely dark purple pigments. It's going to give the hair a really ashy appearance. This would work best on lighter hair, but I used it on my roots. The roots are quite orange-golden, but a bit darker, maybe a level 7 or 8. I knew this shampoo wouldn't work as well on hair that isn't light blonde, but I wanted to give it a try anyway. I have attached photos of the difference after one wash. The hair does look a tiny bit more cool toned, and really shiny! As a shampoo it's really nice. Lathers up well, smells fresh and leaves the hair feeling really clean. I would recommend this to anyone with light or grey hair who wants to add ash tones to their hair! #lykoreview8084 views

Icy Blond in the black bottle neutralizes both yellow and orange tones and gives a cooler, more ash blonde shade, while Silver Shine in the purple bottle mainly neutralizes yellow and golden tones in blonde or gray hair. Both help keep the hair cooler, but Icy Blond gives a more ashy result. Take care! 💛1 likes

The comment was made 2 monthsHi Cornelia! 👋🏼😊 Since it’s the orange tones in the scalp you want to tone down, you need to use blue pigments, blue neutralizes orange 💙 You can use this conditioner; lyko.com/sv/milk-shake/milk_shake-cold-brunette-conditioner-250-ml Since your lengths already have the nice blonde shade you want, it’s best to focus the product where it’s needed. Apply the conditioner with a brush on the scalp/at the warm areas for a more precise application. When rinsing out the product, you can apply a regular conditioner or a hair mask on the lengths, which reduces the risk of the light parts absorbing too much pigment 🤗 Have a nice day! ☀️

Ingredients
Specific shampoo for blond hair. Cleanses hair gently with a
specific black pigment that counteracts yellow or orange tones in blond
or lightened hair, giving ash tones. Milk proteins restructure the hair
deeply, giving hair a healthy, vibrant appearance.
Use:
Apply evenly over damp hair, leave in for a few minutes, then rinse. For a more intense result, leave in for a few minutes more. The icy blond products contain pigments which can give a very intense result on porous hair; once the desired result has been reached, alternate with a different shampoo to maintain the results. Proceed with icy blond conditioner.
