Perfect for an 80s look :)
I ordered this eyeshadow palette in the color "I know thatโs bright" for an 80s themed party, and I had to do a trial makeup the same day the package arrived (which conveniently happened to be the night Idol was having an 80s theme). I, who was a teenager in the 80s, love this palette <3 Gorgeous colors with lots of pigment, but to make them stick properly, you should have some primer underneath. Some of the colors are glittery, most are matte, and they can be combined in many different ways. I hadnโt read the fine print and imagined a pretty big palette, but the whole box is only 10 x 10 cm, so each color is no bigger than 19 x 19 mm. Nice product!
This eye shadow palette is a nice choice for those who want to start experimenting with some more exciting colors. Lots of selection of rainbow colors, both matte and shimmery. ๐ The formula is good enough, it applies nicely on my MAC cosmetics brushes. The color needs to be built up a bit to reach maximum pigment, especially with the red color I noticed. I also noticed there was quite a bit of fall-out, but you can put some loose powder under your eyes before application and also brush it away along with the fall-out when you're done (little tip๐) Overall, it's a good product for the price it is, and I would recommend it. Beautiful Shades
I love the different shades, you can create a whole eye look with just this palette. The pigment holds well and lasts all day. A bit loose/crumbly when applying to the brush, so unfortunately there's a bit of product waste. Really bad pigment, the colors don't cover at all no matter how many layers you put on. Also, NYX is unethical since it is established in Isrl, and thus a company that co-finances crimes against humanity. Pigmented
A very well pigmented palette, with both neutral and shimmer shades. Each individual shade is a bit small, but itโs a perfect travel size. The colors are long-lasting in use, very little fallout, and are cream-soft, (though in powder form) which makes blending a bit tricky, but not difficult at all. These do not work against you at all. The product is vegan and comes with a seal in the form of fingerprints on black tape. It does not come in a box, just the product itself which is plastic. The colors are lighter and more rosy in reality. Unfortunately, the product page does not convey this. The price is somewhat on the higher end for a drugstore product and the size itself, but again; this palette is long-lasting in use! I have tried both with and without primer over concealer. Very little fallout, and the product picks up nicely with a brush. The shimmer shades do NOT have fallout ๐ A must-have in the makeup bag! #lykoreview4790 views
