    Bad experience with this eye cream

    Unfortunately, this product caused me a severe irritation with burning eczema around my eyes that lasted for three days. I still haven't fully healed under one eye. I have used the product before and tolerated it well, so I don't know what went wrong this time. I'm still treating it with hydrocortisone and sincerely hope that no hyperpigmentation will be left after the remaining redness under one eye. I know the cream is liked by many, and as I said, I have used it before, but I will stop using it now. Absolutely not worth it if you end up with dark spots around your eyes due to severe eczema.

    Should I avoid using this at night if I use retinol?

    I use COSRX The Retinol 0.1 Cream a few nights a week, and I’ve understood it that way that you shouldn’t combine products with retinol and vitamin C like this one has. Does that mean I should choose a different eye cream to use at night? I obviously don’t apply retinol that close to my eyes, but I would think there will still be a bit of overlap in some areas if both products are used in the same routine.

      Hey Nicole🤗 You are absolutely right that these active ingredients shouldn't be used in the same routine or layered🤝🏽 No matter how careful you are, there can always be a reaction in the area where the products are close to each other. I therefore recommend that you use a different eye cream without vitamin C on the evenings you use a retinol product on the rest of your face🤭 Wishing you a wonderful day!

      Hey hey This product contains ingredients that work anti-age and focuses on reducing fine lines and crow's feet. It is therefore not recommended to use this product if you have young skin, as young skin does not need to work anti-age. When you are young, cells renew incredibly quickly, so here the skin works fast so that you don't need to use products that slow down the cell renewal process! Here I would recommend using moisturizing eye creams that do not contain active ingredients, as this can be focused on when you are well into adulthood. Wishing you a nice day ahead!
