Hi, I dyed my hair 1 year ago and it has grown out quite a bit. I thought that instead of dyeing the roots, I could just dye all my hair to my natural hair color, which is dark brown. Did not work on my hair
Unfortunately, this hair dye was the worst I've ever tried.. It was obviously a gamble on my part, I got my hopes up through a little research on reviews. But I do not recommend it, absolutely nothing happened even though I tried to dye it several times as they recommended in the instructions.. A bit darker than Brown copper
Hi! I've been using this product for a long time now since my scalp can't handle regular chemical dye, and I'm so incredibly satisfied! Since I've unfortunately become more and more gray-haired, I wish to upgrade to a bit darker than Brown Copper, which color do you recommend? Radico Organic Hair Color is a 100% organic certified hair dye crafted from henna and herbs. It delivers vibrant color that lasts approximately 4-6 weeks. A single package is sufficient for waist-length hair.
Each package contains:
- 100 g of color powder
- Disposable plastic gloves
- Disposable plastic cap
- Brush
- Instructions (in Swedish).
Gray Hair:
Unlike chemical dyes that penetrate the hair shaft, this organic hair dye wraps around each strand, enhancing your hair's natural vibrancy and shine. As a result, it doesn't completely cover gray hair but is excellent for blending gray and non-gray hair seamlessly. The black dye deepens the color of gray hair, giving white strands a soft gray hue with subtle blue undertones.
Chemically Treated Hair:
For those who've recently used chemical dyes or products, achieving the perfect color may require at least two applications. The initial application helps break down and remove chemicals, setting the stage for richer color in subsequent uses.
Suitable for:
This dye is great for everyone, though we advise against using dark brown and black shades on light blonde to ash-colored hair due to the potential for unwanted greenish or bluish tones. Please read more here. IMPORTANT: Avoid if allergic to henna or any included herbs. Always perform a strand test and an allergy test 48 hours before use by applying a small amount of the dye mix to an area like the inner elbow.
Usage:
Before diving in, thoroughly read the instructions. Mixing your hair dye: Feel free to blend different shades for a custom color. Combine the powder with warm water in a non-metal bowl at a ratio of 1 part powder to 3 parts water, adding water gradually until it reaches a yogurt-like consistency.
- Short hair: 20-30 g of powder
- Shoulder-length hair: 40-60 g of powder
- Waist-length hair: 70-100 g of powder
Dyeing:
Apply the paste starting from the roots to the ends using the provided brush or a hair dye brush/comb. Gray hair might require a bit more paste. Once fully applied, cover your hair with the included plastic cap. Leave the dye in for at least 45-60 minutes; for deeper shades, a longer wait is safe, up to 2-3 hours. Applying heat with a hairdryer can enhance the color. Rinse until the water is clear, shampooing as necessary. Radico's organic hair dye easily washes off skin and clothes with mild soap.

Tips:
For a more vivid color, consider dyeing your hair 2-3 times, allowing 24 hours between each session. Be aware that some shades might deepen a bit (oxidize) after a couple of days. If you have leftover powder, seal the package and store it in a cool, dark place until your next coloring session.
