Well deserved five stars
Got to try this leave-in balm from #redken The packaging is nice. I always prefer a pump bottle instead of a jar, but the jar is very flat and handy which makes it easy to pack, plus points! The product has a very pleasant consistency, almost a bit pearlescent shimmering. Quite light and smooth. Smells good but not quite as good as the rest of the series! Doesn’t weigh my hair down at all, it feels light and manageable. I find it easier to detangle my hair with this as a leave-in! Hair feels less frizzy and more manageable. However, I can’t use this series every wash, as my hair gets an overload of repairing products, but it works perfectly to use about every third wash! I use more product than recommended since I have a lot of hair, but wow, this product is very economical! I won’t need to buy a new one for a very long time, LOVE it. Love that it does its job without having to drown the hair in product! Exactly what I needed. Will definitely buy again! Gives 5/5 ⭐️ since the product is so good you can overlook the packaging! I have used Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Bandage Balm (leave-in), and this is perhaps the product in the series where I notice the best effect. The hair feels immediately softer and more “together,” especially in the lengths that can quickly become drier or damaged. It is light in texture and absorbs well without making the hair greasy or heavy. I also find that it reduces frizz and gives a slightly smoother finish, which makes the hair easier to style. A big plus is that it also provides heat protection, so it works well before blow-drying or styling  At the same time, it is not a quick fix for very damaged hair alone, but more a product that builds up the hair over time. It works best together with the rest of the series. All in all, a very nice leave-in that provides both care and protection without feeling heavy – perfect as an extra step in the hair care routine. I have tested Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Conditioner 300 ml along with the shampoo in the same series, and I find that it really makes the hair more manageable and smooth. Already in the shower, you notice that the hair is easier to comb through, and after drying, it feels softer and less frizzy. The consistency is creamy and economical to use, so you don’t need much product. It gives a bit of a “salon feeling” both in texture and scent, without being too heavy. The hair also feels stronger over time, especially in damaged lengths, which gives a healthier overall impression. At the same time, it is not a conditioner that does everything alone – the best results are achieved in combination with the rest of the series. The price is also somewhat on the higher side. All in all, a very good conditioner for those who want softer, smoother hair with a little extra care, without it feeling greasy or heavy. My ends have never felt softer and healthier!
Used this balm with its shampoo and conditioner the last 2 weeks, and my hair and ends have never felt softer! I have very damaged hair, broken and frizzy hair of a thick hair type. I haven't had my ends trimmed since November, and my ends get damaged very easily. I've tried many different hair treatments before (including K18 leave-in mask and L’Oréal Absolute Repair leave-in mask), but this one gives results immediately! My hair and ends feel much softer, healthier, and more "shiny." The scent is refreshing citrus. And the texture is good and spreads easily. Have tested shampoo, conditioner, and this from the same series for about 2 weeks now. My hair feels less damaged, softer, and airier despite having highlights done a week ago. Pleasant texture and nice packaging. Only a small pea-sized amount is needed, applied from the middle of the hair down to the ends. This combined with the rest is a must to get the full effect of what the series is supposed to do. Completely okay scent. Recommend. Exciting product
I was excited to test this product. Was a bit skeptical when I saw the size of the product. The content looks small but is economical to use. You don’t need to apply much with each use. The packaging itself is practical and easy to bring along, e.g., when traveling. The hair feels good after use and becomes soft. I haven’t noticed much change in my hair so far, but I’m excited to follow along. The scent of the product is neutral and doesn’t smell much. I like that the product doesn’t have a strong fragrance. I had somewhat mixed experiences with this leave-in treatment. Although it makes the hair softer and adds a bit of shine, I find it feels a bit heavy and can make the hair look greasy if you're not very careful with the amount. The texture is okay, but I didn't notice a big difference compared to other leave-in products. The scent is nice, but nothing special. For me, it doesn't quite live up to expectations compared to the shampoo and conditioner in the series. It works, but doesn't impress. 🧴 Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate Bandage Balm — ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Bandage Balm is the product in the series I had the highest expectations for – and the one that gave me the most mixed feelings. The texture is a bit sticky, and the recommendation to use a pea-sized amount distributed in the hands felt insufficient for my hair. I definitely needed more to get good coverage from the mid-lengths to the ends. The result is still positive – the hair feels stronger and somewhat softer after use, and it works well as a leave-in. But the application instructions are not fully adapted to all hair types, and the stickiness can be a bit of a surprise the first time. I was so lucky to receive this product line and wow, it has been great for my light hair, which needed some love after a hairdresser forgot the time during bleaching 😅 This balm is so lovely in my thin Scandinavian hair. It doesn’t weigh it down and it’s really economical to use. Just like the other products in the series, my hair has really improved.
