    A really good cream for my body's dry areas!

    I had the opportunity as a lykoinflutester to test 3 products from SAWE Skin Science: - Derm-Alert Barrier Repair Cream - Radiant Revive Eye Cream - Hyaluronic Catalyst Power Serum After a few weeks of testing, here comes my review, thoughts, and experiences about the product Derm Alert Barrier Repair Cream, a cream that is supposed to provide intense hydration and protection for the skin. A repairing mild cream for the face but can also be used for the body as a body balm, dry areas like hands or elbows. A bit about my skin type: Normal/combination, mature, large pores especially in the T-zone, great need for hydration, occasional cramping fine lines, and sensitive! Occasional pigmentation! The cream has a thicker consistency, really lovely to apply on my dry areas on the body where it feels very nurturing and repairing! The tube packaging is clean and nice! I really like that the cream smells fresh, clean, and mild! The cream hydrates well, makes the skin soft, but does not fully hydrate in the face and is also a bit too rich/heavy for my skin type! It also left a very matte look, I would like more radiance and glow. Works well for other dry areas of the body (knees, elbows, shoulders, and hands) where I continue to use it after the testing period. #lykoinflutester #sawe

    Does not live up to expectations

    This Norwegian-developed cream is supposed to provide intense hydration and protection for the skin. According to the product description, it should repair, soothe, moisturize, and protect the skin. It is supposed to be a versatile cream suitable for all skin types, especially dry or sensitive skin. It is also made to help restore the skin in cold climates. The cream should be applied to clean skin as needed, but can also be used daily. Additionally, it can be used as a versatile body balm. One can apply it to dry areas, hands, and elbows for intensive moisture. Since my skin is mature, sensitive, and relatively dry, I hoped this would be a cream that would suit me well. After a few weeks of use, I have this to say about the cream: ✅ I really like that it comes in a plastic tube, so it can be cut open when there is little product left, and you can use every bit of the product ❌ A bit of a tight smell ❗️ The cream itself is very thick in consistency, and you can really feel that it is a barrier cream. ❌ The product is a bit difficult to spread, so you have to be careful with the amount you take - especially if it is to be applied to the face. ❌ The skin on the face feels soft right after application, but after a short time, it feels dry and tight. For some reason, it feels like all pores and wrinkles also became three times as noticeable after application than before. ✅ I also tested this product as a hand cream, and for that, I thought it worked really well. It absorbed quickly to be that oily, and my hands felt nicely moisturized. I ended up using this cream as a hand cream and on dry areas of my body. For that, it worked really well. As a face cream, it was not quite ideal for me. Therefore, I only give it three stars. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #SAWE

    Derm-Alert Barrier Repair Cream

    I have been testing this cream for a few weeks now. I have combination skin with some dry and some oilier areas on my face, and I have also used the cream on dry areas of my body. The cream has a thick consistency and provides good moisture. I find it can feel a bit heavy on the face for daily use - especially if you have normal/combination skin. It sits a bit like a «layer» and is therefore perhaps best suited as a night cream or during periods when the skin needs extra care, e.g. in winter or after a facial treatment. I really like that it is fragrance-free and I will use it when I start with retinol again. The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the tester received the product sample free of charge.

    Smartson Test Pilot - This product unfortunately isn't for me

    I have tested the Derm-Alert Barrier Repair Cream from SAWE Skin Science for two weeks, but unfortunately I can't say that it has worked for me. The cream has a thick and rich consistency, which I actually liked - especially now before colder weather. Despite that, it absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves a hydrated and soft feeling. However, I don't feel that it does more than a significantly cheaper moisturizer does, which makes it hard to justify the higher price and I don't see what is special about this cream... At first, the skin feels hydrated, but after a few hours (especially when used during the day) I noticed that my skin reacted with slight redness. Interestingly, I didn't see the same reaction when I used it in the evening, which suggests that it might be better suited as a night cream for more sensitive skin types. As a hand cream, it works okay, but considering that it is formulated for the face and costs a bit, that's not really where I want to use it.     Ok cream

    The cream has a good consistency and gives an immediate feeling of moisture and protection. It is mild, without a strong scent, and partially absorbs into the skin. For those with dry skin, it will likely feel nourishing and strengthening to the skin barrier. However, if you have normal to combination skin, it may feel a bit too rich and leave the skin somewhat oily – especially in the T-zone. It works best as a night cream or during periods when the skin needs extra care. All in all, a solid cream, but perhaps not the best choice for daily use for all skin types.     Good quality, but a bit thick

    Had the opportunity to test this cream through a test panel. For me, this cream was a bit too thick as a face cream in the summer, but it probably works very well on winter skin? (The evaluation was conducted on behalf of Smartson – the test person received the product for free)

    Smartson Test Pilot

    I tested the Sawe collection on behalf of Smartson. Therefore, I received the products at no cost. This is really a barrier cream that I will not use on my face again. Maybe during the winter months on dry, exposed areas. The cream does not absorb (since it is a barrier cream)

    Beautiful cream with long-lasting effect

    I have now tested the Derm-Alert Barrier Repair Cream from SAWE Skin Science for over two weeks and am positively surprised. The cream has a thick, almost balm-like consistency that really feels nurturing and protective on the skin. Despite the rich consistency, it absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any sticky residue. The skin feels hydrated, soft, and comfortable all day – something I really appreciate, especially now during the summer when the skin easily becomes dry and sensitive. I also find that the cream is economical, which makes the somewhat high price feel more justified. An effective and reliable barrier cream that does its job very well.     Good cream

    As a tester for the product via Smartson (free of charge), here comes my review. A good product for dry areas on the face. The product was easy to use. It has made it so I no longer have dry areas on my face, especially around the nostrils. The product is easy to use and absorbs well into the face. The product lasts all day and makes the skin feel hydrated the entire time. This product has made it so I no longer get the cakey or flaky areas under my makeup, and the makeup looks good all day. On days when no makeup is used, you feel hydrated and fresh in the face. I can really recommend this product to someone who feels they are missing that little extra in their skincare routine. I got to test the series and am impressed by how smooth and hydrated my skin has become. The makeup lasts all day after I started using these products, without caking or looking weird on the skin.     Good but not for me

    I have tested this cream for two weeks now and I love that it is fragrance-free. It also feels easy to use and feels good on the skin. However, my skin is so oily now during the summer, especially now that it is so hot, so I haven't experienced much help with this cream. I asked my husband to try it since he has bigger problems with sensitive skin and dry patches, and he thought the cream worked super well.
