Wonderful cleansing for both face & body🌸
I have now tested this CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser for normal to dry skin for face and body for a few weeks, and here are my experiences and thoughts after my testing period! A bit about my skin type: Face: Normal/combination, mature, large pores especially in the t-zone, great need for hydration, occasional crow's feet fine lines and sensitive! Occasional pigmentation! Body: Normal/combination, dryness can occur, great need for moisturizing products! It's fun to have the opportunity to test a new brand that doesn't otherwise appear here at home in the cabinet! The packaging is so incredibly practical for getting the right dosage! Also very fresh with a pump, well done! The formula is milky and doesn't get slippery right away, but leaves a slight white film after a while of massaging on damp skin! The formula feels nice and soft on the skin, a big plus that it is unfragranced! I find my skin very well cleansed and the cleanser is easy to rinse off! The skin gets a result with hydration and a clean fresh feeling! I am very satisfied with the product! Works perfectly for both body and face! Well done! My skin is dry and tight from this☃️
I was super happy when I was going to try this on my dry skin since it’s a moisturizing cleanser. It’s been cold and it’s winter, so my skin is even drier now than my already dry skin is in the summer. Now in winter, I mostly use balm and sometimes an oil cleanser, and I always use micellar. Preferably fragrance-free since my skin is sensitive. It might be that this works better in the summer, but right now in January, this cleanser is not working well for me and my skin is getting dry and tight. It doesn’t lather excessively much, so I thought it would work, but it didn’t. It’s fragrance-free, which is really good, and the pump works great, but my skin is getting too dried out from it. Unfortunately. I will go in and change my rating if it works better in the summer, which I have no idea if it will. The positive, besides being gentle on the skin, is that it cleans well anyway. But with the fact that this cleanser claims to be moisturizing and makes my skin tight instead of just somewhat hydrated is not so fun. Cerave Hydrating Cleanser is a cleanser I always return to😍 and has been part of my evening routine for many years🌙 The cleanser gives me lots of moisture and feels incredibly comfortable on the skin. It is water-based, cleanses effectively without stripping the skin or irritating the skin barrier. Suitable for all skin types, but works especially well for my skin type – normal to dry. I like this one because it’s so gentle even when my skin is super sensitive. You understand why it’s a classic, it does what it’s supposed to do, and my skin doesn’t feel dry afterward.
