Protects Against the Sun
This has been in my beach bag for the past few years and I haven't burned my lips when I've used it. It gets softer when it warms up, so twist it up a little when using it in the sun. It moisturizes like a regular lip balm (nothing remarkable either way) and needs to be reapplied as soon as you've eaten/drunk, like with any other SPF or lip balm on the lips.
