Pleasantly surprised
At first, I didn’t understand the hype around this cleansing oil (or oil cleansing in general), but since it really dissolves makeup in an excellent way, I’ve become very fond of it! 🤩 I usually wear minimal makeup, and my evening routine has to be quick as a mom of small kids – this one does the job! Always nice to know that if I ever put on more makeup, it’s easy to remove EVERYTHING with this powerful cleanser. It also removes mascara. Good for sensitive skin 😊 Tip! I was so sure I had already rated this, but apparently not in the form of a review. This is THE BEST makeup remover I have had for removing makeup. It is gentle, doesn’t sting, and still removes all makeup. However, if you use this, it’s important to follow up with a water-based cleanser because otherwise, it can be a bit hard to get rid of the oily residue! For those of you thinking that regular cooking oil works instead – maybe it does on your makeup, but for me, this is the only one that removed Maybelline waterproof on the first try. It’s fragrance-free (smells kind of like rapeseed oil) and lasts very long if you use the right amount of pumps when washing – it should be applied on dry makeup, and sometimes it might feel like it’s not enough for the eyes, then just add half a pump more. Pretty okay
This cleanser is pretty simple and okay, it removes makeup well and is gentle on the skin. I have some trouble removing eye makeup without getting "blurred vision." I've tried rinsing and rubbing a bit extra before opening my eyes again, but it happens every time.
