Super effective peeling
This is truly the dream peeling for us impatient souls. Works like gold in just 1 minute!! Delicious thick consistency that is easy to apply and easy to wash off. Subtle, nice scent. The skin gets a lovely glow afterwards and you can use the peeling 1-2 times a week. Absolutely perfect product. I rarely use chemical peels but if I want to exfoliate I usually tend to choose something like this. I wasn’t expecting it to look and feel like a face mask so that was a surprise. It was also interesting that in the instructions it said to leave it on for only 1 minute and then rinse off with lukewarm water. I personally love this since I am the type to speedrun through my skincare routine. That’s why I love the effectiveness. It is disclosed that the skin may tingle and be red-ish after usage and I can confirm that it did it for me at least some of the times I used this. However, it’s said to be normal and I think the redness went away in 30-60 mins. It feels like this product is doing something but I can’t see many changes in my skin. I would have to keep on testing it for longer to be able to tell if it has long-term results. All in all, it seems like a solid product and at this point I don’t have any complaints about it. Be a little cautious if you have sensitive skin
I was a bit skeptical when I, as #lykoinflutester, was going to test a peel, something I actually have never tolerated. But Emma S. is one of my favorite brands, so I was looking forward to giving it a try. I have light Nordic skin and red hair, so I have sensitive skin, and it has become extremely sensitive after menopause. This peel was supposed to sit for one minute and then be washed off. A little tingling and redness was to be expected. But for me, it became pain. My skin reacted with burning, itching, and blisters. And after two hours, it became directly painful, and I had to rinse again and again with ice-cold water. The burning didn't go away until after two days. So do a small test on a small area first to see if you can tolerate it. I give the product four stars, where I only deduct one, because the product is good even though I can't tolerate it. The consistency is nice and easy to spread. I really like the scent. Those who don't like perfume might want to be a little cautious. It's not strong, and it smells clean. The design is pretty and fits well with Emma S.'s other products. The tube is functional, and the cap is easy to screw on and off. The tube doesn't leak, and it can easily be taken in a bag. The price is acceptable as I can't imagine this is a product one should use often. It seems very effective. Even though this product doesn't suit me, I have no problems recommending it. Acid/enzyme peeling with mask feel
This peeling comes out in a thick, semi-dry mask form and is easy to apply in a thick layer on the face. The color of the product is the same as the packaging, which enhances the mask feel. I let it sit for a minute in the shower until I feel a slight tingling sensation on my skin and then work it off in circular motions. I have dry skin and usually use enzyme peels or AHA in toner form to exfoliate. The effect of this product is definitely peeling, but not optimal. I miss the "squeak sound" that I get on my skin when I exfoliate with other enzyme peels, just because the sound enhances the feeling of cleanliness. Nice peeling!
This peeling has a nice mild and fresh scent that I appreciate, almost a bit cucumber I would say. The consistency is creamy which means that it requires quite a bit of product to get it well over the whole face. I didn't experience any tingling during use, but I definitely got a redness afterwards that, just as promised, faded after a while. I have quite dry skin and sometimes I find that my skin gets drier when I use peeling, but I didn't experience that with this one. Fewer pimples, less oily skin
Super great product. I have sensitive skin, so I actually thought this would give me breakouts or something similar. Oh, how wrong I was. It burns when I put it on and I get redness all over my face. But after 30 minutes it calms down. I have acne-prone skin and now I have no more pimples. I combine it with a rejuvenating night cream afterwards and oh what a difference. Clean and fresh like a wild rose
I've been using this for a few weeks now, twice a week. My skin: Combination skin with a tendency to oily skin in the T-zone and dry around the nose and on the cheeks. I have had acne but am basically completely free of it after treatment with isotretinoin. I have slightly larger pores on my forehead, cheeks, and nose. Now to my review:, When you first apply it, it stings a little on the skin, but not so much that it becomes uncomfortable. You can also get a little red, but that goes away quickly. The skin is left clean, soft, and with a nice glow! The skin feels so soft and the pores are almost a little blurred afterwards. Exfoliating Enzyme Peel is an effective enzyme peel with AHA and BHA that removes dead skin cells, dissolves blackheads, and gives your skin a new glow and improved moisture balance in just one minute. Exfoliating Enzyme Peel is a chemical peel and therefore contains no scrub particles, making it a gentler alternative. Remember to always use a high SPF during the day when using products containing AHA. Mildly fragranced.
Use:
Apply a fairly thick layer all over the face, avoiding the eye area. Let the peel work for one minute (you don’t need more). You may experience a tingling and warming sensation on the skin while the peel works. Rinse off with lukewarm water. The skin may appear reddish immediately after, which is completely normal. The redness will fade after a while. Use once or twice a week.
