It’s better to alternate nights: use the toner a few nights a week and the retinol serum on other nights, and always follow up with a soothing moisturizer. I haven't tested this for long, and it's my first retinol product, so I don't know yet if it's good or bad. I feel that since I started introducing it into my routine, I've gotten a slightly more even skin tone and a bit smoother skin from bumps.
