    Use often!

I love this product as I have mild rosacea on my face. I feel it helps with the redness and helps where it's needed!

Hello there Julia! 👋😍 Yes! It works well to combine this with The Inkey List Omega Water Cream Moisturizer 50 ml🙌 If you want to combine these, I would recommend applying this (the serum) first and letting it absorb for 1-2 minutes, then "locking in" the moisture with the omega water cream😊 Take care!

    Hi!

Can I use Midik8's Retinal in combination with this product?

Hey thuycha91 😊 Thanks for your question✨ I do not recommend using The Inkey List Azelaic Acid and Medik8 Retinal in the same routine, as both are active ingredients and can cause irritation together. A good setup is to use azelaic acid in the morning (with sunscreen!) and retinal in the evening, or on completely different evenings. This way, the skin gets the best possible effect – without being overloaded. Always wait and see how your skin reacts, preferably via a patch test first. Hope the answer can be helpful and that you have a super nice day🌞

    Perioral Dermatitis ⚡️

I have tried this product for a longer time (was careful at first, started with once a week, increased the frequency over time), and have been very careful to check which skin products I can combine this product with. I have been recommended Azelaic Acid for perioral dermatitis (I mostly have outbreaks in the winter). I have also had problems with pimples related to menstruation, and wanted to see if this product could help. The pimple outbreaks triggered by hormones got somewhat better with this product. Unfortunately, it made my perioral dermatitis worse. It burned, itched, and I became redder in the areas where I have dermatitis. I tried to use it less frequently, but it still didn’t get better. Everyone's skin and skin issues are different, but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. But I am very happy that it worked for other blemished skin! I felt no burning, itching, or irritation elsewhere on my face! 😄🌟 I think this might be a good product for those who struggle with acne (which is actually not the same as perioral dermatitis, I learned when I got the dermatitis diagnosis) as long as they introduce the product little by little for the sensitive skin we humans have on our faces ☺️ #lykoreview

    New acquaintance

This has significantly improved the evenness of my skin and helped with redness. I keep buying it over and over! A small downside to the packaging, there's really a lot of product left in the tube even though it already feels empty. I always have to cut it open with scissors to get it out.

    Vitamin C micellar water

Hi! Is it okay to use Garnier's micellar water with vitamin C before a cleanser, to use this?

Heihei 👋 It should be perfectly fine to use a micellar water with a low percentage of vitamin c, to then use a water-based cleanser and azelaic acid serum as well as a moisturizer! It is incredibly important to use SPF during the day if you are using Azelaic Acid 💪☀️ Tip: Do not combine too many active ingredients at the same time (like AHA, BHA, retinol) if you are using azelaic acid, especially if your skin is sensitive. Azelaic acid can cause a slight tingling at first – that is normal, but if you experience irritation, use it every other day first. Wishing you a nice day ahead 💓

    Be careful!

Bought this to test on my perioral and periorbital dermatitis. Strong burning sensation and red, angry spots on my face after just a few minutes. Had to remove it immediately, but the dermatitis got even worse - and it still looks like I've been seriously sunburned/burned after a few days. Probably smart to test on a smaller area first, but this clearly doesn't work so well for everyone with dermatitis..

Hi! 💖 Thank you for sharing your experience! I'm really sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with the product, especially considering dermatitis. It's so important to be extra careful when you have sensitive skin, and it sounds like the reaction may have been too strong for your skin. It's always a good idea to test new products on a small area first, especially if you have a skin condition like dermatitis. I understand that this can be frustrating, but it's great that you reacted quickly by removing the product. I hope you find something that suits your skin better🥰

    red marks

I’m on epiduo and have red marks from my pimples, can I use this together if I use epiduo at night, can I use this in the morning then

Hi Anna🌸 It is basically possible to use Azelaic Acid and Epiduo in the same routine, but at different times to avoid extra irritation. The Azelaic Acid 10% Serum from The Inkey List can be used in the morning while you use Epiduo in the evening. This is a common way to reduce redness/scarring while also treating acne. Tips for safe combination: Watch for your skin's reaction: If you notice a lot of dryness, stinging, or irritation, it may be wise to reduce usage (for example, use Azelaic Acid every other day or less frequently). Moisture: Use a good moisturizer both morning and night to support the skin barrier, especially if your skin becomes stressed. Sun protection: The skin can become more sensitive to the sun when using active ingredients, so feel free to use a sunscreen every morning. If you experience persistent irritation, it is always wise to consult with a doctor or dermatologist since Epiduo has already been prescribed by a doctor😊

    Combine

Hi! Can you combine this product with ”The Inkey List Mandelic Acid Treatment”? 💕

Hey Ida! 👋 Super great question! And I wouldn't recommend using these at the same time since both have exfoliating properties and can together be too much for sensitive skin🤍 What you can do is try using Azelaic Acid in the morning and Mandelic Acid in the evening, or alternate every other day to avoid irritation. Remember to use SPF during the day since exfoliation can make the skin more sun-sensitive! 🌞 Take care! ✨
