Yes, well…
I am a diligent user of tanning drops. I already have a favorite. And that is Isle of Paradise tanning drops, and in the color dark. This one has no “designated strength”, so one might assume it can be counted as medium?! So how does Ida Warg’s tanning drops compare to Isle of Paradise? I have now been using these on my face for about a week. And before that, I was without tanning drops for a few days to better gauge the results. I can’t say that I see a huge drastic change in my face. At the same time, one must remember that the results happen gradually. And I forgot to take a before & after picture of my face. However, I did test on a patch on my leg (and took photos), where I am pale and completely without tan. And there I see a surprisingly good result. And as I said, I am pale on my legs, so I assume I see a clearer result there than on my face which has a bit of a tan. 😊 I applied it to my leg on Sunday. And today, Wednesday, there is still a lot of color left. So I would say that the tanning drops are “long lasting”, because I haven’t reapplied on my leg anymore. But I had still hoped for a clearer result on my face… But I must love Isle of Paradise tanning drops… but these from Ida Warg are incredibly affordable! The bottle contains a full 45 ml and costs 199kr! And then it’s no “big deal” that I feel I have to take more drops than I usually do with “my favorite”. The bottle is (at least what I experience) made of hard plastic and not glass. And that’s great! Considering that one (or at least I) stands over the sink and applies. Because yes, it has happened both once and twice that I dropped a glass jar or glass bottle in the sink. 🤦♀️ The pipette in this is unfortunately not the best. You can’t fill the whole tube when you pump up drops. You can only get four drops in the tube. Then you have to empty it out and pump up again. But all in all: 4 stars for this! I've used it several times and really liked it. I mixed 4 drops with a moisturizer, but the last time I used it, a few hours went by and then I had a red rash that itched on my cheeks, eyes, and chin. I liked this, but now I don't know if I dare to use it again, it got very dry and hurt after the reaction, I thought it was strange since I had used it before without any problems... Summer fresh all winter
Soon I will have used a whole bottle of this and I have nothing negative to say. It doesn't smell strongly of self-tanner and it's easy to apply. I always mix it with serum or face cream and always get an even and nice result. I like that it's not too dark but rather gives a hint of freshness.
