Our trade helps make over 600 women in eleven villages financially independent. In addition to fair prices, we also pay an additional sum to help invest in community projects. Today, over 49,000 people benefit from this extra money, including health and health care, cleaning, and educational projects. So far, six schools and one health-care clinic have been built thanks to these investments.
Our Body Butter pot is made from 100% recycled plastic, including recycled Community Fair Trade plastic, collected in the streets of Bengaluru in India. Our collaboration with Plastics for Change helps give waste pickers a fair price and improved working conditions.
