    A nourishing & moisturizing toner!

    A nourishing & moisturizing toner! As an influencer for Lyko, I got to test products from the bodyshop. This time the Vitamin E Moisturising Toner 250 ml, which I have now been testing for a few weeks. It has also become a new favorite! I haven't tested anything from The bodyshop in a very long time, and only body products, so it was fun to try skincare from them! My first impression was that the bottle was nice, the scent very natural but a bit sweet, and the consistency was thicker than I thought, which I liked! It is supposed to be nourishing, cleansing, and provide moisture. Which I think is true, I am extra dry right now and have "patted" the product into my face both morning and night and feel that it has helped with my dry skin. A really good product in my opinion!     Unfortunately not for my skin! But moisturizing💧

    I have as #lykoinflutester been able to test some skincare products from #thebodyshop, including their Vitamin E Moisturising Toner. This product comes in a sleek and cute packaging, which however feels a bit cheap. The toner smells really good, but very strong - which for me is a red flag as it gives the impression that it contains a lot of perfume. I therefore looked at the ingredient list and saw that perfume was an ingredient present, and also very high up on the list (the higher up an ingredient is, the larger percentage it constitutes of the product's entirety) 🌸 The consistency of the toner is a bit thicker, but smooth and soft which I like. This toner has the task of cleansing, refreshing, and moisturizing the skin. More specifically, to remove stubborn dirt, but to cleanse the skin in a way that does not strip moisture. When I have used the toner, my skin has felt a bit irritated right after, as if it stings a little, but that feeling has disappeared after a few minutes when I applied moisturizer. The toner does moisturize, and whether it cleanses, I'm not quite sure. :/ From what I can see in the pictures I have taken of my skin before and after continuous use of the toner, there is a certain increased amount of glow in the face, but also an increased amount of pimples and impurities. I have a skin type that is combination, acne-prone, and quite sensitive to perfume. Therefore, this product may have reacted differently on my skin compared to others. But overall, this was not a product for me. Even though the product moisturizes a bit, it does not match my acne-prone skin. If the product did not contain perfume, it might have worked better for me! It's up to you if you want to test and see if this works for your skin - but with a skin type like mine, I would advise against this!🙅‍♀️

    Too much fragrance for my taste

    A toner from The Body Shop that is very soft, smooth, and hydrating in consistency. So more creamy than watery. The bottle itself feels very cheap and plastic. But the toner does its job. And that's the main thing. Also vegan! I feel satisfied, and it suits all skin types. However.. I don't like fragrance in skincare for the face at all. It can sting and burn a bit, so I prefer without! #LYKOINFLUTESTER #THEBODYSHOP
