    This is a targeted cleanser for those struggling with blackheads, oily skin, or stubborn small pimples. It contains 2% salicylic acid (BHA), which is the gold standard for breaking down oil deep in the pores. The positives: Affordable effectiveness: You get a clinically proven ingredient in a high concentration at one of the lowest prices on the market. It really does the job of keeping pores clean. Non-drying (for most): Unlike many other "acne washes," this contains zinc and allantoin which help soothe irritation and balance oil production without leaving the skin feeling like sandpaper afterward. Multifunctional: It works great as a "body wash" on the back or chest if you tend to get breakouts there. Simple routine: Perfect for those who don’t want to bother with toners or exfoliating acids afterward – you get exfoliation right in the cleansing step. The negatives: Texture: It’s quite runny and gel-like. It doesn’t lather much, which some might find feels "a bit lacking" when washing. Doesn’t remove heavy makeup: This is not a makeup remover. If you use a lot of foundation or sunscreen, you need to use an oil cleanser first (a "double cleanse"). Risk of "Purging": Because it clears out pores, you might experience a short period (1–2 weeks) where you get more pimples before it gets better. This is normal but annoying. Can be too harsh for dry skin: If you have dry or very sensitive skin, 2% BHA every day might be too much and cause flaking. It contains 2% salicylic acid that dissolves sebum, exfoliates inside the pores, and prevents clogging, while it can also smooth out bumpy skin ❣️ When it comes to the face, I would recommend starting to use it once a day, then increasing to twice a day depending on how your skin reacts 💗 For the body, you can think the same way and it can be convenient to use in the shower (let it sit for 1-2 min) 🌟 Important to keep in mind: 💗Can dry out or cause some irritation at first → start cautiously 💗Avoid combining with strong acids at the same time until your skin gets used to it 💗Use sunscreen during the day on your face – salicylic acid makes the skin more sensitive to the sun I would recommend using a lighter moisturizer afterwards 🥰 Hope you like it, take care! 😍

    Hi! I'm really struggling with closed comedones on my chin and forehead. I've bought this cleanser, in addition to having these products. -cosrx aha 7 whitehead power -torriden balancing pads -torriden dive in moisturizer -cicaplast How can I set up a good skincare routine, and am I missing anything?🥹 struggling to get them away!

      Hey Helle💞 So great that you got The Inkey List Salicylic Acid Cleanser – it’s super for exactly the skin challenges you describe 💛 Here’s a suggestion for how you can use your products in a routine: 🌞 Morning -Cleanse with Salicylic Acid Cleanser (mild but effective on pores and comedones). -Use Torriden Balancing Pads to refresh the skin and give a little extra clarity. -Apply Torriden Dive-In Moisturizer for light hydration. -Always finish with sunscreen (very important when using acids). 🌙 Evening -Cleanse with Salicylic Acid Cleanser. -2–3 times a week: use COSRX AHA 7 Whitehead Power (not on the same days as balancing pads). -On the other days, you can use Torriden Balancing Pads. -Moisturize with Torriden Dive-In Moisturizer. 🤍 If the skin feels irritated or red: apply Cicaplast as a soothing layer at the end. 👉 Tip: Closed comedones can be a bit stubborn to get rid of, so be patient and try to avoid using too many exfoliating products at once.     Used for over 1 year

    I have been using this cleanser for over 1 year now. After trying many different cleansers over several years, I would say this is the best on the market! I have noticed a clear difference and rarely get pimples anymore. My skin is more even and nice, and it gives a natural glow after use. I have combination skin, and this works well for me. Would absolutely recommend💕

Use:
