    Oat Cleansing Balm 💙🩵

Gentle for sensitive skin. A decent packaging, generously filled with product. I have tested this as the first step in cleansing in my evening routine. However, I haven't tried to remove eye makeup with it, I always use eye makeup remover for that purpose. I perceive that sometimes it is very easy to get product out of the packaging, and sometimes you have to press a little harder to get the right amount out. It really removes makeup easily and gently when rinsing off with water! 💦 A bit harder to massage and spread over the face than my other cleansers, I get a feeling that it "sticks" a little to the skin. But; I moisten my face before cleansing and massage the product in my hands (with water) before I start cleansing my face. Then it works well! It removes makeup very well, leaving a pleasant feeling after use. It doesn't tighten, the skin doesn't feel dry but hydrated after cleansing with this. However, it feels like a film of the product is left on the skin, but I solve that by using a water-based cleanser after this (or you can let it stay. Feels hydrating, doesn't irritate). Doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. 🥰 I choose between three and four points, but right now I still land on a four. 🥰🌊🌸 It is mild, it doesn't tighten the skin after use, I don't get any reaction. For me, it removes makeup brilliantly! Mild, lovely, doesn't tighten, you feel hydrated. A lot of product for a reasonable price. Four points are worth it! 💙🩵💙🩵 #lykoreview

    Not for me

I’m unfortunately longing for this to be over, actually. I don’t think it removes makeup effectively, it’s hard to get out of the packaging, sometimes it just comes out like an oil before you get the balm out when you press really hard. I also don’t like how it feels on the skin (thick and heavy type) and hard to remove with other cleansers, feels like a film that stays, really have to work with the other cleanser to get it off. Unfortunately a disappointment for me, so much that I’m considering getting rid of it even though I’ve only used half and really tried to make it work.

Film left after cleansing but moisturizing

I have sensitive skin with rosacea and this hasn't given me any consequences after about two weeks of use. In the evenings, I go straight to the rest of my routine, but in the mornings I use micellar water with niacinamide to remove the film that several describe. My skin feels pleasant but I would have liked to see the film not remain, was afraid it would cause bumpy breakouts but it hasn't. The cleanser is economical, I use about a cm for the whole face. It has small grains in it so I wouldn't use it on the eyes. I would have preferred to give it 3.5/5. I don't know if I will buy it again yet. I want to give it a month first.

    Okay

Good to use as the first step in an oil cleansing. Removes makeup but leaves a film, so you need to follow up with a water-based cleanser afterwards.

    The skin becomes silky soft

This cleansing balm feels absolutely lovely on the skin. It almost melts in, cleans well, and leaves the skin soft and hydrated. I have sensitive skin and have no negative reactions to this. You have to press very hard to get the balm out of the packaging, which is a bit of a drawback for me. But the product itself is fantastic. It's also cheap.. #lykoreview

    Affordable!

Nice moisturizing oil-based cleanser, but it leaves a feeling of having a layer on the skin after washing 🥲

    SUPER!!

Super good!!! Removes makeup and cleanses deeply without drying out, but leaves a bit of an oily film on the skin so you have to use a water-based wash afterwards.

Hi Beata 😊 Thank you for your question✨ Yes, the Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm effectively removes oil-based and waterproof makeup, including mascara. It’s gentle, nourishing, and suitable even for sensitive skin. For very stubborn makeup, a second cleanse may help! Hope this helps and wishing you a great day🌞

Actually, I love it since I'm a dry person. But it's damn hard to rinse off.

    Grains in - not ok

I love cleansing balms and if it weren't for 2 things, it would get 4 from me! 1. The product has grains, is that the oat part? Unclear. For me, who has sensitive skin and absolutely does not believe that any form of physical peeling belongs in this type of product, this messes things up a lot. Such a shame! Otherwise, it's good at melting makeup etc. 2. The packaging. Even when more than half is left, the packaging starts to become a problem. The tube is a bit slippery in the shower and needs to be worked on quite a bit when you get close to the end. I lost my patience and threw the tube away with about 1/4 left because of this.
