Bought it because I wanted a Cleansing balm in a tube. I've previously used liquid cleansing oil and didn't understand the meaning of oils that leave a film afterwards. But now I understand. The feeling of trying to cleanse the face with something that can't be rinsed off is anything but lovely. I'm happy to receive tips on other Cleansing balms, preferably in tube format.22 viewsMaja
Customer service at Lyko1 dayHey Henrietta! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experiences with the product, even though it didn't quite hit the mark this time. A cleansing balm can be a great option to use as the first step in your cleansing routine. My best tip is to combine it with a double cleanse to really get your skin clean. Feel free to check out this gem lyko.com/sv/the-inkey-list/the-inkey-list-fulvic-acid-cleanser-150-ml Fingers crossed that it can work better, and if you would like a personal recommendation and help finding products that suit you and your needs, I can warmly recommend our skin test on our website Have a really nice day!

6 days°*~Thoughts on a Cleansing Balm~*°
One thing I think can be exciting is to try a product again that you tested a year ago or more. It has happened to me several times that I started to like products that I previously didn't like, maybe because I've learned more and can better understand the benefits, or simply because it fits my skin better now. With this Oat Cleansing Balm from The Inkey List, however, it's the opposite. Loved this a couple of years ago! I thought back then that it felt like a stable product that removed makeup well, was gentle on the skin, and at a good price. And sure, I can agree with myself to a large extent - but today I've come across products that have both these qualities and work SO much better, so I was actually a bit disappointed when I started using this again because I remembered it as a bit better. The benefits are, however, these: you get a decent tube that lasts a good while, at a relatively low price, one of the best prices for the amount of product in the class, I think? The product is fragrance-free and extremely gentle on the skin. If you experience a film from it, I can say that I low key have started to appreciate that film since it doesn't make me break out but instead feels nurturing and protective. Especially like this in the winter! What I think is worse is this: I had read about others who had problems with the product separating in the tube, but I had never experienced it myself. Now I have, and it's actually not so fun. It doesn't help how much I try to shake it, a fart thick product comes out and oil runs down the side (see picture). Now that I think about it, maybe this is part of the problem, since that oil belongs in the product and not beside it. Maybe it makes its makeup removing effects worse, because that's thing number two; I don't think it's that good at it. So it works, but you have to stand and rub and rub, and if you compare it to other cleansing balms (read: Clean It Zero), it definitely ranks at the bottom. Also, I think it's quite not economical, I need double the amount of product as with other balms to feel that the makeup is dissolving. I know this got quite long, I had a lot of thoughts about this, so thanks if you read all the way here. The sum of the matter for me is a meh. I can see that this product has some positive qualities, but as a cleansing balm, I probably won't choose it again since I now have other products that I prefer in that category. However, it is nice on the skin, and I happily use it up as a face wash with a little extra cream now that it has gotten so cold (as the first step in a double cleansing). I feel, however, that it might be time for The Inkey List to reformulate it so that it doesn't separate in the bottle for half the people who buy it. On the other hand, it is loved even as it is now... But have YOU tried Clean It Zero? 😍 #lykoreview #theinkeylist #cleansingbalm23 likes627 viewsJohanna Sabine Emma Viktoria Jana
6 days@Cecilia thank you so much, that made me happy! 🥰 Yes, I read your review and I got the feeling that you weren't completely satisfied 😢 I can see your points. It's wonderful when you find something you really enjoy, but I should actually get better at checking what's cruelty-free... 🧐🤓
