    So good

    I've been using this cleanser for several years and it's amazing! I have sensitive skin that is prone to eczema, and this is the only cleanser that has worked for me that doesn't dry out my skin or make it oily. Super good!

    Has the formula changed?

    What has happened with this, has the formula changed after it was sold out for so long? I have used it for many years and have always been super satisfied, it suits my sensitive skin, is economical, and easy to wash off. The tube bought now in February doesn't get properly oily when washing and is impossible to rinse off, so I have to use a cloth and it leaves my skin oily and sticky.

    Why is this sold out? 😢 I really hope that The Ordinary doesn't completely stop making the Squalane cleanser, but I would have definitely liked to see them keep the 150 ml tube because the 50 ml runs out way too fast 😟

    Pretty good, but not amazing

    Works pretty well, removes most makeup without issues. It feels like you have to use a lot of product to get the whole face clean, so that's a downside. Clinique's Take the Day Off - oil and balm work better for me :)

    Perfect for sensitive skin

    I have atopic skin with rosacea on the cheeks. I used to get skin flakes around my nose but not any more since I started to use this with cleanser and the moisturizer that comes in a pack with the serum. Also no more acne.

Description
Ingredients

A gentle cleansing product formulated to target makeup removal whilst leaving the skin feeling smooth and moisturized. The formula incorporates Squalane, alongside other lipophilic esters that are gentle, moisturizing, efficient in dissolving makeup and facial impurities and increasing the spreadability of the product. When rubbed between your palms for approximately 10-30 seconds, the product undergoes an important textural change from a balm-like consistency to a clear oil-like consistency. This allows the emulsifying sucrose esters in the formula to trap and blend the dissolved makeup and facial impurities with water for rinsing. Being soap-free, this formula is designed to be gentle enough for daily use, without over-drying the skin.

Dispense product into hands. Rub together to warm the product, allowing it to melt into an oil. Massage well onto dry face and rinse with warm water. If irritation occurs, cease use and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Patch testing prior to use is advised. Refer to our in-depth guide to patch testing.
