Affordable and smells good
I don't know if I've noticed any hold with this spray. Heat protection that works well and smells very good. Just the right amount of scent too. Joico, Maria Nila, etc. have products that smell significantly more than Waterclouds products (which generally smell very mild). Works but leaves white residue
When you spray, it leaves a residue that settles on the hair. You can also clearly see it in the bathroom, there’s a lot of leftover residue in the sink after I’ve sprayed. My round brush also got covered in it. I noticed my hair became a bit more porous from using it, but otherwise it seems to work as it should. Dry hair?
The bottle says it should be sprayed on dry hair. Is it only meant for straighteners etc., and not suitable for blow-drying, or why does it specify that the hair should be dry? The fact that it says dry hair is because this type of spray is often made to be used before e.g. flat irons or curling irons, where the hair should be dry. I think it does its job, i.e., protects against heat. For context, I've only tested this with a hairdryer since I rarely use other styling tools, so I can't comment on how it works with curling irons. I also love this type of spray bottle; I find the product easy to distribute/apply in the hair. Smells good too. However, I am the kind of person who fiddles with my hair all the time if it's not styled in a hairstyle, and this spray leaves a pretty sticky surface on the hair, which in turn sticks to my fingers, which becomes super annoying after a while. Terrible!!!
This is terrible!! I bought it because I had heard it was good, but it smells absolutely awful and leaves a taste in the throat after you spray just a little on your hair. Works okay for its price, and I have repurchased the product when it was on sale. But I wouldn’t buy it again. It gets a bit too dry and hairspray-like in my hair without actually providing much hold. If it had made the styling hold better, I could overlook that, but since that’s not the case, it mostly feels dry and rough in my hair. In other words, it doesn’t do much for my hair except heat protection. But I would say there are better dry heat protectants. However, I find it really hard to find a 5/5 dry heat protectant that makes styling hold, doesn’t feel too heavy in the hair, etc. It’s also incredibly strong in scent, almost like hairspray, which I don’t like, but unfortunately that’s common with these heat protectants, though there are others I find less strong than this one.1585 views - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
