    Amazing product!

    I suffered from dry skin in the winter and felt like nothing helped. However, after finding this product, my opinion is different; the product is really good, and I haven't had to suffer from my skin's dryness after using the product. It is also very economical.

    Snail slime

    It's good for the skin, gives a nice glow if you have good skincare before applying it. It moisturizes the skin well, but you should use it always after washing your face or before applying two skincare creams.

    Snail slime? -Why not?!

    Got this in a Lyko Lovables box and was curious to try these hyped snail slime products that are trending so hard right now. My skin is dry, sensitive, and on the mature side. I take good care of it, don’t lie in the sun, and moisturize every day. The product is, as the name suggests, a gel-like essence that is quite pleasant to use. You get a lot of product for your money! I have to use more than one pump as stated in the description, so I wouldn’t say it’s very economical, but it’s not extremely wasteful either. I follow up with cream afterwards, day or night cream. The essence is nice, but I wish for maybe a bit more hydration anyway, and a nice scent. (The product is fragrance-free, which is better than stinky, but I like a little perfume in my skincare since it’s my luxury moment of the day and I indulge in the experience that a good scent gives me). The bottle is good and easy to use, I understand that this is a hyped product and it lives up to the hype. Worth the price! #lykoreview

    Couldn't tolerate

    My skin first became dry from it, and after the 4th use, I got bumps on my chin and my cheeks got small "holes", looks almost like acne scars. I was told it’s because my skin couldn’t tolerate the product. Now, 2 days after I stopped using it, it feels like I have a lot of sores on my face, and it burns as soon as I put on any cream, makeup, or anything... I've never experienced anything like this. I can't recommend this afterwards and don't think a skincare product should cause such problems, my skin has never been sensitive to anything.

    I don't notice any difference on my skin regarding pimples, or that my skin has gotten more moisture. But right now when I use it, I get a really nice and good glow, that looks like that glass skin. So I use it for glow :)) #lykoreview

    Retinol after snail slime?

    I wonder if you can use retinol after the “snail slime,” and after the retinol, moisturizer and night mask, or if it’s too much with both snail slime and retinol.

      Hey! It's good to use retinol after this product, as snail mucin hydrates and soothes the skin, which can reduce irritation from retinol. Apply the essence first, let it absorb, and then follow up with retinol. Finish with a moisturizing night cream to lock in moisture Keep in mind that if you're new to retinol, it might be a good idea to introduce the products gradually to avoid any irritation. Use retinol a few times a week to start with and increase the frequency as your skin gets used to it Take care!

    Would not buy again

    Having used the whole bottle, I can say that the product did nothing for my skin. Even though I slathered on a lot of moisturizing toners on my face before the serum. I also will never buy it again. There are many good Korean products, but this one didn’t do anything at all. I waited a long time for the bottle to run out, at least it’s economical if there’s any praise to be given.
