Easy-to-use peeling for dry skin
Peeling in liquid form with mandelic acid that suits my dry, extremely thin, and sensitive porcelain skin😌 that can't handle just any acids! Mandelic acid is an AHA acid, good for increasing cell renewal, which unfortunately slows down with age. Also good against inflammation! ➡️Easy to use - either you take a little on a cotton pad and swipe it over your face, or if you want to do a gentler version, pour a little in your palm and apply where you want it. I usually apply it on my neck and décolletage about 1 time/week and on my face about 2 times/week. In the advertisement for it, 4-5 times/week on cotton for dry skin is recommended, but that's too much for me! ➡️The brand is cruelty-free, meaning it doesn't test on animals🐶🐱🐲🐶 ➡️It itched and stung for a quarter of an hour the first time. Then it gradually got better! ➡️Smells quite special too: just like new textile bandages🤩???😄 (but unfortunately, I have an excellent sense of smell👃🏻). I haven't found the ideal acid product yet, but I'll continue with this one for now! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 #lykoreview1 product in post Easy-to-use peeling for dry skin16302 views- The comment was made 2 monthsThanks! Combine dark spot serum with mandelic acid
Heii🤍 Can this be used together with Caudalie's Vinoperfect dark spot serum? For example, if I use the mandelic acid in the evening and the Caudalie serum in the morning?🤍 I struggle with hormonal acne and purple/red acne scars that won't go away.1 product in post Combine dark spot serum with mandelic acid48 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 12 hoursHey Anna 💗 Yes, it’s totally fine to use By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water together with the Caudalie Vinoperfect serum 🌿 It’s actually a super combination – the mandelic acid works gently to exfoliate and even out skin tone in the evening 🌙, while the Caudalie serum can help with glow and pigmentation in the morning. Just remember to use sun protection every day, as the skin becomes a bit more sensitive when you use acid ☀️ Have a lovely day ahead!

Unfortunately not for me
I had high hopes for this product, especially since I have sensitive skin. Unfortunately, I found that this was not pleasant at all, I felt it started to sting and itch after application. I actually liked Paula's choice more than this.1 product in post Unfortunately not for me98 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. Mild and Effective
Due to medication, my already oily skin has become extremely oily and even more acne-prone. I have become yttdry and even more sensitive than I was before, which is why I was very hesitant to try exfoliation - but it worked really well! This is mild and at the same time very effective on my skin! I started with 1 evening/week and then ramped up to 2 evenings/week. I noticed quick improvement in my skin; not as much acne and small blemishes! Unfortunately, I didn't get to use it more often because the spring sun started to peek out and mandelic acid makes the skin more sun-sensitive, so I switched to a mild BHA acid, but I will switch back in the fall as my skin really liked this!1 product in post Mild and Effective2057 views - The post was made 3 months
Is it okay for a 15-year-old struggling with dark spots, pigmentation, and acne?
I struggle with dark spots and acne, have dry skin, and I'm afraid it will burn me since I have sensitive skin, so I was wondering if I, as a 15-year-old, can use it? Honest answer please, I'm terrified. How long does it take if you have brown skin? Does it help with dark spots?1 product in post Is it okay for a 15-year-old struggling with dark spots, pigmentation, and acne?2041 views- The user's roll: Former employee. The comment was made 3 monthsHi Jamal 💙 Thank you so much for your question – and it’s so nice that you’re doing research before trying something new 🙌 By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% is a mild acid product that many with sensitive skin tolerate well, and it can definitely be used by teenagers – but it’s still wise to start slowly. Use it only a couple of times a week at first (in the evening), and always remember to use sunscreen during the day, especially when using products for dark spots and acne. Since you have sensitive skin, it’s extra important not to over-exfoliate. If you feel tingling or it becomes red and uncomfortable, you should take a break and use more moisture. The product can help with both dark spots and acne, but it may take some time – often a few weeks before you notice a difference. If you feel very unsure, we recommend talking to a skincare professional or doctor before you start, especially since your skin is sensitive ❤️1 likes

Good
Good if you want a lighter exfoliation, don't use too often. Preferably in the evening so it looks nice in the morning after.1 product in post Good1509 views - The post was made 4 months
What happened?
I tried this for the first time tonight on cotton pads and then I finished by pouring a little directly on my hands and dabbing my face a bit that way too. "I have combination skin type", oily in the t-zone and quite large pores on my nose and along my cheeks. But what the heck happened? I got a slight stinging sensation in my face right after application that lasted for about 15 minutes, and after a minute or so after application, I got red spots all over my face (mostly on my forehead, under my eyes, and next to my nose). I looked a bit red and flushed. Nothing itched, but my skin felt very tight and dry afterward (felt almost like a minor facelift in my face). Should I dare to use this again?1 product in post What happened?1914 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 4 monthsHello!😊 What you’re describing sounds like a reaction that your skin didn’t really like. Mandelic Acid is a mild AHA acid, but sensitive or unbalanced skin (even combination!) can still react, especially on the first use or if the skin is a bit stressed. A slight tingling can be normal at first, but red rashes and a tight, uncomfortable feeling are clear signs that the skin is saying no. The fact that you also tested both with a cotton pad and hands at the same time might have been a bit too much at once. We would recommend that you pause the use right now. If you want to give it another chance later, please try it like this: 🔸 Only use on completely dry skin after cleansing 🔸 Apply with your hands in a thin layer (skip the cotton pad!) 🔸 Start with once a week 🔸 Avoid other active ingredients the same evening If the skin reacts again, then this is not the right product for you 🤍 Take care!😊
