Not for makeup removal
I thought the product would be good for removing makeup because it is oil, but how wrong I was 😆. The product is also thick in its consistency (if that makes sense), so it still needs to be washed off with a water-based cleansing product. How can there be unpleasant surprises.... pimples. I have acne-prone dry skin and I notice that the bottle is still almost full even though I have had it for about 3 months. It probably removes sunscreen from the skin, but I don't fully trust it. Because I really have to work to remove my it cosmetics cc cream. There is no strong scent in it. Something good, it has a good pump. I would say if you are looking for an oil-based product or oil for double cleansing, this is worth trying. But for example, waterproof mascara or other very long-lasting products, it does not wash off. So totally okay/mhjäh, but I do not recommend 😆 #lykoreview19858 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. 🫧🤍 A cleansing oil I really like!
Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Cleansing Oil is a product that has made my cleansing routine a bit more enjoyable. I really like the feeling of being able to thoroughly dissolve makeup, sunscreen, and dirt without the skin feeling tight and dry afterward. 🤍 The texture is light and oily in a pleasant way, and it’s easy to massage over the face. I especially like how the makeup starts to dissolve without having to rub the skin a lot. It makes the evening routine much smoother. ✨ When I add a little water, the oil emulsifies and becomes milky, which I think is a really lovely part of the whole cleansing process. Then it rinses off easily and the skin feels clean but still soft. I also like that it works well as the first step in a double cleansing. After the oil, I can use a water-based cleanser and then continue with the rest of my skincare. It feels like a little routine that actually makes the evening a bit more luxurious. 🥰 Ginseng is also an ingredient I find very nice in skincare, and the whole product has that calm and minimalist feel that I associate with Beauty of Joseon. Above all, this is a cleanser I like to use in the evening when I want to gently and pleasantly remove the day’s makeup and SPF. Really good product! I can personally notice that my pores get smaller plus I feel hydrated after washing and not dry like you can feel with many other face washes! Left a film
Unfortunately, this one wasn’t for me. I felt like I got more pimples from it and that the texture was way too thick, which caused it to leave a film on my skin even after a water-based cleansing. It removed makeup well but left a film on my eyes, making my vision blurry for quite a while afterward, something I’ve only experienced with heavy oil cleansers. I have tried so many different facial cleansers that haven't helped or have been bad for my skin. I've always had problems with blackheads, and this product has actually helped a lot. The pores are still there, but they are significantly smaller than they have ever been. A really good product! Leaves the skin very moisturized too, so a big +1763 views
