The consistency is a bit like a syrup that went to therapy, sweet, calm, and well-balanced. It glides on the skin with the same grace as a main character in slow-motion rain. The scent? Almost non-existent, which is perfect – I don’t want my face to smell like a bakery, just look like one. I have tried using this serum 3 times, and each time I became red and inflamed in the face and got small nettle rashes after the jawline. Gets lots of glow from the serum, I apply it in my evening routine and my skin glows through makeup the next day. I struggle quite a bit with pimples, but I don’t feel like I get more pimples when I use this. Impossible to switch out!

Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum combines propolis extract and niacinamide in a serum with a light texture. Niacinamide is a multi-functional ingredient that can help balance the skin’s oil and moisture levels, reduce the appearance of uneven texture and fine lines, and strengthen the skin barrier, while propolis extract is known for its antibacterial and healing properties.
The targeted formulation also includes Centella asiatica extract, which is known for its soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid and glycerin in the serum work in synergy to bind moisture in the skin and support its natural moisture balance, while vitamin E is known for its protective and calming properties. The serum also contains 0.5% BHA, a mild alternative to salicylic acid that can help refine skin texture.
The lightweight texture allows the serum to absorb quickly into the skin, leaving a comfortable feel.
