Brutally honest review
I don't know what they put in this little bottle, but it feels like I'm slathering myself with a mix of honey, angel sweat, and gentle miracles. Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum promised me glow, and I thought “sure, everyone says that.” Three drops later, I looked like I actually drank water this week. The consistency is a bit like a syrup that went to therapy, sweet, calm, and well-balanced. It glides on the skin with the same grace as a main character in slow-motion rain. The scent? Almost non-existent, which is perfect – I don’t want my face to smell like a bakery, just look like one. Nettle Rash
I have tried using this serum 3 times, and each time I became red and inflamed in the face and got small nettle rashes after the jawline. 🍯✨ Glow that actually shows!
I really understand why this is called Glow Serum! The first thing I notice when I use it is how fresh and hydrated my skin feels afterwards. I really get that nice glow that makes the skin look a bit more awake. The texture is also a big favorite of mine. It’s a bit gel-like and glides very nicely over the skin, but feels light and absorbs quickly. I really like it when a serum gives a lot of feeling without leaving a sticky layer. I usually use a few drops after toner and then continue with my regular skincare. It has become one of those steps I almost automatically take when I want my skin to look extra nice. 🤍 What I like the most is actually how it works under makeup. The skin feels soft and hydrated, and I think the base makeup applies much nicer when I’ve used the serum beforehand. It gives such a fresh glow that shines through the makeup instead of just sitting on top. I also think the skin feels very soft afterwards. It’s not a product where I expect any magical overnight change, but it’s that consistent feeling of hydrated, soft, and glowing skin that makes me like it. And 30 ml actually feels quite generous since I only need a few drops at a time. The only almost negative thing is that I like it so much that I’m afraid it will run out too quickly. 😂 This is definitely a serum I will continue to use. Super nice under makeup
This product is truly a GLOW BOOSTER under makeup! The makeup sits super nicely on top and you get a smooth and glowy finish. The only thing I wish was better is the size since it doesn't last long. Gets lots of glow from the serum, I apply it in my evening routine and my skin glows through makeup the next day.
