This is a development of the so-called Wand, but the idea behind the L-shape is that you get a better grip, and a more ergonomic posture. Instead of pulling your arms around your head, you can just hold it straight up (the L-shape up), twist the section of hair around, and hold.

The curling iron also has extra fast PTC heating, which means that the entire cylinder heats up evenly and simultaneously, and you can adjust the temperature between 120-230 °C! Remember to use heat protection at high temperatures and also remember that a higher temperature won’t necessarily give you a better result.
