Very good
A primer but I use it as a mascara. I was looking for a gray mascara, clicked that under the search criteria. Now I see it says black pigment in the text but I didn’t read that then, so I have only myself to blame. Still think it’s very good so it works anyway. My ultimate go-to is Estee Lauder Little Black Primer but it has been discontinued. So fitting
Not as good at building volume as Essence's white primer. With this underneath, my mascara became clumpy and spiky. But since it's dark gray, you can use it as a mascara that gives a softer look. A base that extends in several ways
I have used this base with both Tarte mascaras and Catrice's yellow mascara, it gives visibly longer lashes, and in Catrice's case, the primer keeps the mascara from smudging (which it does after a couple of hours normally). Doesn't do what it's supposed to
