My salvation
I have had trouble finding a balance between moisturizing my skin without getting pimples, but Cetaphil was the solution. It is fragrance-free and feels gentle. It absorbs quickly into the skin without sitting on top, which allows me to moisturize my face before applying my makeup base, without negatively affecting the makeup. The moisture lasts until I wash my face in the evening, then I need to moisturize again to avoid feeling that my skin is dry. In that way, it doesn't take the skin to a new level of permanent hydration, but it keeps the skin "in check". A good complement for me that has given me more "permanent" hydrated skin is to combine this with Cetaphil softening cream. Their softening cream is a bit richer, so I usually apply it in the evening and leave it on overnight as I don't find it as good to wear under makeup. The product lasts a long time as you don't need much. Great for dry skin
I have combination, acne-prone skin with a tendency to redness, and this is the best cream I've tried for dry, irritated skin. I always use it if my skin starts to flake, is dry, or sensitive. It really works overnight where the skin feels nourished and much less dry the day after application. It's a good rescue that is less likely to clog pores than other thick creams based on the ingredients. Moisture bomb!
I have very dry skin and this product literally saved my skin in the winter! I often find my skin very dry and tight in the winter, but this changed that!
