Because this volume spray is a combination of powder and liquid base, the product must be shaken very thoroughly before use. Turn the bottle upside down and shake until the balls rattle in the bottle. If this is not done, then the powder can get stuck on the way out and stop the flow, since it wasn't mixed with the liquid. Spray near the hair roots and then work the spray in with your fingers.
