If you're considering buying this, I have a piece of advice for you - don't do it!!!
I've already written a review about my first attempt. What happened when I got it exchanged?
The first attempt went well. The attachments didn't stick to this one either at first, but I discovered that if I twisted it, they would stick, unclear why and it shouldn't be that way, but it worked okay. The hair turned out great and the styling held well, I tested the round brush, curling irons, and de-frizz.
On the second attempt, I thought it was loose both in the twisting and in the attachments. I did well with the round brush, but when I tried to use the de-frizz part, it just fell off. It just glides over the hair, so it doesn't need to sit tight, but it didn't work.
Third attempt, none of the large brushes could be secured at all, the smaller ones could be inserted, but they didn't click in and then fell off during use. Exactly the same problem I had with the first one, except that it could never be used. I also found a review on YouTube by Chloë Swift, and she had the same problem, the attachments just fell off at the first use.
So of all three I know of, all have had the same fault, sounds a bit too much to be a coincidence, right?!
I ordered my first silk’n’silky in November, and what have I received? Dragging a very heavy package back and forth to the post office soon 4 times, sitting outside with several thousand for 2 months for ONE successful use of two completely new products.
Now I give up and want my money back, and Lyko, this time I think you should compensate me for the inconvenience and stop selling this product, it is to say the least subpar.
