The scent is absolutely beautiful and above all hypnotizing, which — it seems to me — is a common feature of the LoveNotes collection. However, it is not a warm, spicy vanilla, as some seem to suggest, but a volatile and powdery one, with a slight tartness. The opening strongly resonates with bergamot, then achieving an accent of vanilla with sandalwood and cream; in the end, we are enveloped by notes of something gently powdery, reminiscent of moisturizing baby wipes. Overall, I would rate it as a refined and definitely mature scent, which for me is associated with an elegant lady spending a cultural evening at the theater. It should definitely not be compared to Mod Vanilla — if you are looking for something strictly vanilla (whether pure vanilla or the warmer one), it is best not to buy this scent blindly. And it is certainly not a vanilla for fans of sweet gooeyness!
