Nice moisturizing, but not much more

I have been using The Ordinary soothing barrier serum for a long time and wanted to test if this one could do something similar. It was a big no, but it is moisturizing and okay for just that.

    I wish I loved this product…

Azelaic acid is a really nice ingredient for my skin, but it's hard to formulate products with - I don't think this did anything for my skin at all.

I recommend Isispharma's 15% azelaic acid cream for rosacea.

    A nice ascorbic acid serum

Ascorbic acid is known to be unstable, so it's important to use the product within a few months. You can store it in the fridge.

Would love to give 3.5 stars

It's a really nice cream and it absorbs well. It's just not anything special, but works flawlessly for combination skin.

    Good beginner RetinAl

If you're not used to using stronger retinoids, start with this one and work your way up to the 10.

    Really good RetinAl

I've been using this product for a couple of years now and have really good results regarding blemished skin and maintaining the youthful appearance of my skin. This is a RetinAl (retinaldehyde), so it's more potent than a retinol.
