Test Pilot Kérastase Serum x2
I had the opportunity to be a test pilot for the Genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant & Nutritive 8H Overnight Serum for 5 weeks and I am satisfied with both products, which suited my hair type very well. The first thing I noticed was the feeling of luxury you get from the products and their design. The scent of the products reminds me of salon visits, and it feels luxurious. Genesis Serum Anti-Chute Fortifiant. This viral and talked-about serum was fun to test, and I absolutely think it’s worth the hype. The product feels very light in the hair and does not weigh down the roots and absolutely does not create a "product feel" after application. I have used the product almost daily for weeks, and I feel that my hair in the areas where I chose to apply the product has grown, and the hair strands feel stronger. I am including before and after pictures so you can see the results after weeks; I look forward to continuing to use the product and see what happens to the quality of my hair. The scent is somewhat strong, which can make it difficult to use if you are sensitive to scents, but I can react to products that have a strong scent, but I have not noticed anything regarding this product. The pipette used to apply the product is well designed and does not drip, even though the product is quite liquid in the formula. Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum. The night serum has been a product I truly appreciate. My hair strands are very fine and sensitive, but I notice how this serum has moisturized and protected the strands overnight. It is also very light in consistency. I find that my hair feels softer, more manageable, and easier to brush out when I wake up in the morning. The scent is quite strong, but nothing I have reacted to, and the formula creates a feeling of luxury. I understand that people may think the price of these 2 products is quite high, but I really think you get what you pay for with these products. You can tell that the products are well-crafted and truly make a difference for your hair. As a reference, I have straight, fine Scandinavian hair. (Thin fine hair strands that easily break) & my hair can often have difficulty cooperating with products and easily gets a "greasy" feel from products. I am very fond of Kérastase products overall and a person who likes to test different hair products. Summary: Scent: Quite perfumed products. Feel in hair: Both products are light and easy to work into the hair and do not create a film or product feel. Effect: My hair feels softer, stronger, and fresher and has experienced faster hair growth in my temples. Best suited for: You who want professional products that really work for this hair type but are not sensitive to scent. I can really recommend both of these products, and I have used them in combination with Kérastase Elixir Ultime L'Huile originale Hair Oil, which I also warmly recommend. Incredibly good product, highly recommend!
I have bleached my hair and have very fine Scandinavian hair, so I have hair that easily gets damaged, frizzy, and dry. (You can see before and after pictures when I used the serum). This product has really helped my hair from the first use, and I find my hair much easier to brush and feel that my hair gets more texture and feels thicker. My frizzy hair becomes smooth, and you can clearly see that it reduces the appearance of split ends! 😁 I often find that products lay like a film on the hair and that the hair feels heavy, but this product melts in nicely and creates just a lovely texture instead of a sticky feeling, something I really appreciate! The scent feels luxurious to me, like you just came from the hair salon. If the hair gets humid again due to rain or similar, the hair smells absolutely lovely again even though it’s been two days since you applied the product. The price may seem a bit high, but I really think it’s worth it, the product feels economical and like it will last a long time. In my pictures, you can see a before picture without the product and a picture where I have only used the product and blow-dried it, so I haven’t styled it yet.
