Good goooood
I got to try Maybelline New York Fit Me Loose Setting Powder in the shade Translucent and am actually very pleased with the result. I mainly use it to set my makeup and think it does a great job keeping the base in place while removing unwanted shine. The result is matte but still quite natural, which I like because I don’t want my skin to look completely flat or powdery. The powder has a very fine and light feel on the skin, and I find it easy to build up where I need a little extra, for example under the eyes or in the T-zone. I also feel that it helps the skin look smoother and a bit more even. It doesn’t feel particularly heavy even when I use it over foundation and concealer. The only downside is that you need to be a bit careful with the amount since it’s a loose powder and it’s easy to pick up more product than you actually need. I also think the packaging can get a bit sticky around the opening after a few uses. Overall, though, I think this is a really good setting powder for the price. It keeps my makeup looking nice longer, reduces shine, and gives a nice, soft matte finish without feeling too heavy on the skin. A powder I can definitely see myself continuing to use! I got to try the Maybelline New York Color Correcting Concealer in the shade 05 Pink and think it’s really easy to include in my makeup routine. I’ve mainly used it under my eyes to even out and brighten the area before applying my regular concealer. The pink tone makes the area look a bit more awake, and I think my regular concealer looks better on top. The formula is easy to work with and blends out quickly, which I appreciate because I don’t like when color correctors feel thick or sit like an extra layer of makeup. I also find it easy to build up a bit more product where extra correction is needed without the result looking cakey. What I like most is that it actually makes a difference without feeling overdone. I prefer to use a little product and build up as needed rather than applying too much at once. If you have very dark areas, though, you might need to combine it with a regular concealer for full coverage. Overall, I’m very happy and think this is a good product for a fresher and more even result, especially when you want your makeup to look natural. I got to try Maybelline New York Lifter Oil-In-Gel Twist Pen in the shade 06 Strawberry Shake and really think it’s a nice product for those who like glossy and a bit more juicy lips. The color is a nice pink shade that gives the lips a bit of color without feeling too much, which makes me think it works well both for everyday and when you want a slightly more polished makeup look. I especially like the feeling on the lips. It’s glossy and moisturizing without feeling like a classic sticky lip gloss. The finish becomes very glossy and almost a bit glass-like, which gives the lips a fuller and fresher appearance. I also find that the lips feel soft when I’ve used it. The twist function is handy once you get the technique, but you need to be a bit careful when twisting out the product because it can easily come out a bit more than you need. Otherwise, I think the applicator makes it easy to get the product evenly on the lips. Overall, I’m very happy with the Lifter Oil-In-Gel Twist Pen. It’s the kind of product I like to have in my bag and can use several times during the day when the lips need a little extra shine and moisture. Strawberry Shake is also a very easy-to-wear shade that I think suits many. Best ever!
I got to try Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Sky Tubes and was actually positively surprised. I especially like how the mascara separates the lashes and gives a very nice, lengthened result without feeling heavy on the lashes. The brush is easy to work with and you can build up the result with several layers if you want more intensity and volume. What I think is best about this mascara is the tubing formula. It stays well throughout the day and I didn’t experience it smudging or getting under the eyes as easily as some regular mascaras can. At the same time, it’s very easy to remove in the evening. With warm water, the mascara comes off in small "tubes," which makes cleansing much smoother and you avoid rubbing your lashes. For me, it mainly gives length and separation rather than super dramatic volume, which I actually prefer for everyday use. If you want very full and dramatic lashes, you might need to add several layers. Overall, though, I think this is a really good mascara for a defined, long, and durable lash look. I will definitely continue to use it! I have had the honor of testing this lovely series via Smartson. My hair is very damaged, bleached, and thin. The consistency is thin and runny and smells quite strong but still has a lovely scent. However, it felt like I needed to use more than what was stated on the bottle, which can get "expensive".
