    Heart Heat

I have tested the By Lyko Cheek On Fleek Blush in the shade “Heart Heat.” I previously said that the bronzer from By Lyko was a bit too powdery for my taste and was a little worried the blush would be the same. I see some others say it is, but I really don’t experience this one as powdery/dusty. I think it blends beautifully into the skin, but it is very pigmented, so you should apply a little at a time. I find it best to dip the brush into the blush and then tap off a bit on my hand before applying it to the face, it becomes beautiful that way 😍 I also love this color! It looks very natural and gives a fresh glow to the cheeks. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #BYLYKO

    Golden Days

I got to test the By Lyko Tan Fan Bronzer in the shade “Golden Days.” This is a matte bronzer without talc that is supposed to melt into the skin. Unfortunately, this was not a favorite for me. I probably didn’t choose the right shade for me, as this one was too light and leans very much towards orange. This powder is unfortunately not as creamy and silky as it claims to be. I wonder if it’s the shade I chose that is like this, or if this applies to all the shades? It’s very powdery and dusts a lot when I dip the brush into it, and when I tap off the excess, almost all the product disappears from the brush. I managed to make it work a bit better by dipping the brush into the powder and blending it in my hand before applying it to my face. But since the bronzer was a bit too light for me, it didn’t show up well on the skin. I think I’ll try ordering a different shade to see if it works better. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #BYLYKO

    Tapered Powder Brush

I have now tested the By Lyko Tapered Powder Brush for a little while and have completely fallen in love 😍 Often I find that affordable makeup brushes feel very cheap with plastic handles and the hairs come loose very easily after a short time. That is not the case with this one! It has a heavier handle which makes it feel very luxurious and the brush hairs are incredibly soft, making the brush incredibly comfortable to use 🥰 It hasn’t shed a single hair since I started using it. I have tested it with setting powder, bronzer, and blush and it works just as well for all powder products. This has become a new favorite in my daily routine and I want to test more brushes from By Lyko 🌻 #lykoinflutester #bylyko

    Curl Soufflé

After I learned that I have wavy to curly hair, I have really tried to highlight this in the best possible way. I have now tested quite a few curl creams, gels, and mousses, but still haven't found my favorite. I was therefore very excited about this one. It is a vegan mousse that is supposed to enhance curls and give more volume, add shine, and protect against frizz, moisture, and heat up to 230 degrees. My first impression was that this sprays out the mousse very poorly. A bit like a cream jar that is about to run out. But I managed to get out a golf ball-sized amount and applied it to the lengths and roots. I scrunched my hair a bit to enhance waves, but not too much as I don't want too many curls. Then I let it air dry. This mousse gives volume! I very rarely have much luck with mousse for my hair, as they usually give too much volume and just create a fluffy and frizzy mess. Unfortunately, that also happened with this one. It enhanced some waves, but it was too frizzy for my taste. I also didn't like the feeling of this in the lengths of my hair. It felt a bit like saltwater spray, so a bit tired. I tried applying this to the roots before blow-drying instead, and it gave nice volume at the roots and some hold. So yes, this wasn't a hit for enhancing waves/curls on me, but a nice mousse to give some volume and hold at the roots 🥰 #lykotestpilot#schwarzkopfprofessional

    Super Shield

I had basically given up on heat protectant sprays that you can use on dry hair, as I always found that they either made the hair too wet or were terribly sticky. That was until I tried this one! ❤️ I sprayed this on freshly washed dry hair before using heat tools, mostly a curling iron. It sprays a smooth and fine mist and doesn’t make the hair wet or sticky! The only thing I noticed was to be careful not to spray too much, as the hair can get a bit heavy. This really makes my hair silky soft and shiny. Unfortunately, it didn’t give any hold to my curls when using the curling iron, but when using a straightener, I experienced more shine and longer hold. If I have to say something negative, it’s that the scent of this reminds me a bit of Elnette hairspray, and I’m not especially fond of that. But I don’t find that the scent lingers throughout the day. This is supposed to protect against heat up to 230 degrees – a big plus! #lykotestpilot#schwarzkopfprofessional

    Leave-on peeling

I have received this product for testing to give my honest opinion ❤️ This is a renewing peeling that is supposed to reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles. It is meant to increase cell renewal in the skin and provide a smoother complexion. I, the tester, have sensitive skin with a somewhat damaged skin barrier and some fine lines on my forehead. I am always a bit skeptical about exfoliation since my skin very easily reacts with redness and stinging. Like the two creams I have tested from Dermalogica, this one also contains a good amount of fragrance and essential oils. I have tested it a few times and unfortunately, each time I end up with redness and stinging. I am also a bit skeptical about using an exfoliating product twice a day, as the description says you should with this one. But if you have a normal skin type with a healthy skin barrier, it might work well. It’s unfortunate that there are so many irritating substances for my skin in this product. It would have been interesting to see if it had any effect on fine lines. It’s probably a great product, it just didn’t suit my skin, unfortunately. #lykotestpilot#dermalogica

    Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50

I have received this product for testing and here is my honest opinion. This is supposed to be a lightweight day cream with SPF50 that increases firmness, elasticity, and moisture content. I have very sensitive skin that needs a lot of moisture, and I am also prone to acne. This is a cream that feels very light on the skin. It absorbs quickly and does not feel sticky on my skin. Unfortunately, I experience mild irritation from this. Similar to the Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream from the same brand that I have also tested, this also contains some fragrances and essential oils that can irritate sensitive skin. It's a shame because I really liked the feel of this, and who doesn't need a day cream with SPF50 ☺️ This cream has chemical sunscreens (like Avobenzone and Homosalate) that can work great for a healthy skin barrier, but for me, mineral sunscreens usually work better. I would think this is a nice day cream for those who do not have skin as sensitive as mine. #lykotestpilot #dermalogica

    Dermalogica Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream

I received this product for testing and here is my honest opinion. I have skin that is quite sensitive, dehydrated, and acne-prone. I need a lot of moisture and gentle products. This is a gel-cream that is supposed to plump the skin as well as preserve collagen and elastin. The packaging is fun, but I notice that it often doesn’t pump out any product, so I have to press several times to get some out. The cream has a light gel consistency and feels like water when applied to the skin 💦 I find that it takes quite a long time to absorb, so I have used this in the evening when I’m not wearing makeup over it. So, how did it work for me? Unfortunately, not at all. I experienced quite a bit of stinging shortly after application, and on several occasions, I had to wash it off again because the stinging was unbearable. Unfortunately, I think this has way too many essential oils and fragrances for me; it smells very strongly of citrus and contains, among other things, orange, bergamot, and lemon peel oils, rosemary oil, and sandalwood oil. It has a lovely consistency, but unfortunately, it was a clash for my skin. #lykotestpilot#dermalogica

    What happened?

This has always been my go-to bronzer. It came in a large package of (I think) 17g. It was a powder bronzer that was easy to blend and very economical to use. Isadora chose to change the packaging, so now it comes in 10g at the same price (!). But it can't just be the packaging that has changed, because this bronzer is now so powdery that it's barely usable. I've never experienced a product that gives me more kickback than this one. I've tried different brushes, but the brush barely picks up any product at all. This was a big disappointment and I miss the old formula and packaging, where you got both a quality product and a good amount of product at a good price. #lykoreview

    Lovely Hair Serum

I have been testing the serum for 2 weeks now. This serum claims to be clinically proven to increase hair growth by 214% in just ten days. I have applied it to my scalp every night. I divided my hair into sections and applied 3 drops in each section. This serum is very concentrated and spreads so easily – which I love! It has a gel-like texture. The hair looks quite wet after application but dries very quickly. I also love the dropper on this, it’s very easy to get the right amount of product out. Even after 2 weeks, I still have plenty left in the bottle. I haven’t had any negative reactions on my scalp from using it and feel my scalp is more moisturized. I sometimes struggle with quite a bit of itching on my scalp, which has completely disappeared with the use of this serum. The hair also doesn’t feel greasy the next day, which is a big plus for me. It smells quite masculine when applied, but I think the scent fades once it’s dry. Whether it helps with hair growth, I don’t know yet. Even though it claims to show visible results in ten days, I personally haven’t noticed anything yet. Maybe in the long run! I will continue to use it anyway, as I like how moisturized and healthy my scalp feels. Maybe I’ll get a positive effect with better hair growth over time ☺️ #lykotestpilot#hairification
