It is both soft and firm at the same time, and the cream doesn’t immediately slide around when applied. It feels like the cream stays exactly where I put it, which makes it really easy to apply. After a week of use, I’ve noticed that the eye area looks brighter, a bit smoother, and the dark circles also appear a little lighter. Of course, I can’t say this is the final result after just one week, but the first impressions are really promising. The texture contains Lacto-PDRN, which is The Ordinary’s vegan alternative to salmon-derived PDRN. Also, PDRN is currently one of the trendiest ingredients in the skincare world, so it was especially interesting to get to test The Ordinary’s version of it. I tested the new The Ordinary Lacto-PDRN 4% + B9 Eye Cream for a week, and here are my first impressions!
I especially like this texture. It’s both soft and firm at the same time, and the cream doesn’t immediately slide around when applied. Sauna is one of my favorite ways to relax, and at the same time, I like to keep my skincare as simple as possible. 1. Makeup removal 🫧 I start with Garnier micellar water and remove makeup and impurities accumulated during the day. 2. Sauna 🧖♀️ Then I go to the sauna for a moment to relax. 3. Kiehl’s Rare Earth clay mask After the sauna, I apply Kiehl’s Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Masque clay mask on clean, damp skin. It’s a lightweight and fast-absorbing face cream that moisturizes the skin for up to 24 hours and gives the skin a beautiful glow.
