    Sticky

    This is the first time I'm trying micellar water, so it could be that the product is just as it should be... but I wasn't impressed. Works okay as a makeup remover, but I won't be buying micellar water again. Sticky, gooey, and leaves a thick and disgusting film that's hard to get rid of. Not a hit unfortunately... such a shame considering that many of Taika's other products are really good and affordable.

A few small tips so you can still use the product... 💛 Try rinsing lightly with water after use. 💛 Use a damp cotton pad instead of a completely dry one. 💛 Follow up with a toner or mist to remove any residual feeling. 💛 Reduce the amount of product. What you're feeling are most likely moisture-binding ingredients like glycerin, xylitol, and betaine.     LOVE!!!

    I was a little worried about buying this, since I have very sensitive skin and some who have tested it reacted strongly. After using the serum for a couple of weeks now, I can simply say that I LOVE this! It feels a bit like a cross between a serum and a cream, so I’ve been able to skip the eye cream (at least now during the summer). It absorbs quickly, moisturizes really wonderfully, and has truly worked wonders on my dryness wrinkles. A new staple in my bathroom cabinet!

    Positively Surprised

    I was really positively surprised by the product. The packaging is cute in a minimalist way, and is designed in a way that both makes the product easy to dose and minimizes the amount of product that gets stuck inside (and thus goes to waste). The gel is light, absorbs quickly, and moisturizes well, and is very economical. My skin has calmed down significantly, and I feel like I have fewer visible blackheads. What brings the rating down from a full score is that the cream leaves a slightly noticeable film on the skin for a while after application (not nearly as much as many other creams, it should be said). I would also have liked a bit more moisture, especially at depth (I will probably supplement with serum and switch to a richer cream in the fall/winter). But this is definitely a new favorite that I will buy again!

    New favorite

    I was a bit skeptical at first, as I have tried k-beauty from other brands and wasn't really impressed... but oh how I love this! It was love at first sight. The packaging is minimalist and incredibly cute. I like that the nozzle in the tube is narrow (makes dosing easier and reduces waste) and can be unscrewed (so you can squeeze out the last bit properly). It's a grain peeling, but with very fine and well-distributed grains, so it feels much less abrasive than many other comparable products. Maybe it's precisely because of this that I found it to be very effective, the smaller grains "come at more" without tearing at the skin. I could really see how the dead skin cells came off, without getting the stinging sensation I get with other grain peelings. This has become my new favorite and will definitely be repurchased! A little about me: I am 33 years old, and my skin is starting to transition to more mature. My skin reacts strongly to most "non-natural" products, which is why I mostly stick to products that are organic/contain completely natural ingredients. I have skin that is on the drier side, but periodically have a lot of oil production, which leads to smaller acne breakouts now and then. Deeply moisturizing products that balance and do not clog pores are therefore a hit.

    A bit split

    A relatively rich product that really makes the skin super soft. My husband is completely ecstatic that this has cured his chronically dry hands. It has also helped with my chronically dry forearms, which many more expensive products have failed to do. Absorbs quickly and leaves no sticky residue, which is a big plus. I can absolutely see myself buying this again. But... I still could have thought that it could hydrate a liiitle more deeply to get a full score (I have a naturally quite dry skin). The scent is wonderfully fruity but a bit too strong, which also lowers the rating.

    Life saver

    I am soooooo glad that these exist on Lyko!!! The hunt for contraceptives has been a long and tough journey for me, as I am super allergic to latex, react very poorly to all hormonal contraceptives, and expel IUDs. Discovered Skyn about a year ago, and they are truly a life saver, so nice to use, and it feels almost like you don't have a condom on. They are also incredibly durable, I've never had one that broke (which happened quite a bit with latex condoms). I am so glad that I can now avoid buying these in "shady" online stores, so dear Lyko, please never ever take these out of the assortment!!! ❤️❤️❤️

    Very mild

    VERY mild peeling, barely noticed any effect at all. Contained no grains of any kind, so I assume it's supposed to be some sort of enzyme peeling. Didn't feel like it did much in either a better or worse direction. Bonus for a fun packaging, but takes up a lot of space in the bathroom cabinet and will probably be hard to get the last drops out.

    Okay for the price

    Makes the skin a bit softer and smoother, but no wow effect directly. I don't notice that the skin has become firmer in any way. The product is heavily perfumed, it might be good to avoid this if you or someone close is sensitive to strong scents.
