Felt promising at first
First impression: this one is nice! It feels like one of those foundations that does the job but still lets your own skin shine through, and reminds me of one of my more expensive favorite bases. On the skin, the finish is "blurred" but still a bit glowy, so you look fresh without it being flat or too "made-up." It's easy to apply and quick to look good because the texture is thin. It's silicone-based, and I notice that if I apply too much product (or stay too long on the same area), it can start to roll a bit. So I've gotten the best results when I do a thin layer, build carefully where I need it, and then just leave it. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone. I also have some redness and broken capillaries that I like to cover, but I absolutely don't want to cover everything. I like when the base evens out but still lets my skin show through. Unfortunately, shade 1.5 isn't quite perfect as it's a bit too yellow (but that's a constant problem for me). I can't have a neutral/cool tone because then I look gray in the face, but many "warm" ones are a bit too warm. 1.5W is a bit too warm, 0–0.5 is too light and cool, and 1.75 is too dark. I'd probably need to mix 1.5W with 0 or 0.5 for a perfect match. But I still make it work with a bit of concealer and bronzer ☺️ It covers moderately, hides my redness and evens out, but you can still see my own skin underneath ✨ What makes me a bit sad is that when the product is so nice at first, it separates and settles into the few dry patches I have and in the pores. I was instantly hooked on the Lip Glow Oil Balm because it feels like the perfect 2-go product. The color Honey is a neutral shade that's hard to go wrong with, and I like that it has a bit of color but still looks very natural. On the lips, it's super comfortable: moisturizing, soft, and above all not as sticky as some glosses and oils can be. I really wish all shades had SPF30 because that would probably make me use it more, as lips are something you often forget about. I love lip balms, and it might be the beauty product I use the most, and I prefer products you can apply without thinking. I want something that works without a mirror and doesn't require you to be super precise, and I want it to feel comfortable on the lips all the time. The result is soft lips with a light tint and a fresh glossy finish. Perfect everyday lip balm that makes you look put together. So, I’m generally weak for stick products. And this one felt great right away. The product looks nice on both cheeks and lips, and I like that it feels creamy already with the first swipe. It’s easy to apply and sits nicely on the skin without disturbing the product underneath. I’ve tried with fingers, brush, and makeup sponge, and it’s equally easy all ways. However, I recommend dabbing off a bit of product on the back of your hand before applying to the face so you don’t get too much product on the skin at once. It’s easier to build up than to try to remove color. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone. The finish is super nice and radiant, without looking oily. This one gives exactly what I want; a cream product that looks natural and soft: nice color and glow, and the shade Cool Pink is so pretty for my skin tone. Cozy cleansing!
I usually don't like so much fragrance in my face products, BUT... since it's a product that doesn't stay on the skin, it's fine. I really love the scent! The feeling is also lovely. It's a foam cleanser, but I don't find it as drying as similar products can be. It feels soft and works well as a second cleanse.
