First experience, 1 week from start

(I will update the review in about 2 months, regarding the actual results) I have used Silkn's previous variant, LED 100. Used it on and off for over a year and saw good results on glow and acne and wound healing. Much nicer skin. Never had such glow before, barely knew what glow was before I started using the mask. Soooo, now I bought their new mask. I look forward to using NIR for a long period and seeing how it works. But initially, I can say: 💜Significantly better fit than the previous model, but still not 100% good fit. But almost. Big difference from the previous model, though. Completely different. 🩵The EMS is sooooo nice, I think, went to the highest level right away. I have no problems at all with discomfort or anything. A bit hard to get contact with the electrodes and the small muscles, takes a few tries before you succeed. (Still having trouble finding the right connection between the two electrodes and the muscles, so I actually emailed customer service and asked how I can rule out errors on the mask before I continue to test and test and overstimulate the muscles, because I want to get it right. 😅 But I will get back to that after a while, when the review is updated.) 💛Regarding the LED light itself, I see that the skin reacts to it. Despite being a regular user of their previous LED mask, NIR is new for my skin. So I don't use F1 every day, yet. The skin gets a little warm and rosy, and that is a sign that it IS something other than just red light, like the previous mask had. 🧡The difference is also that the blue light is now spot treatment, not the whole mask. And I think that’s great. Super good for us who don’t have acne over large parts of the face, as blue light can have the wrong effect when you actually don’t have acne-causing bacteria in the skin but still use it. 5 out of 5 so far because I KNOW that Silkn Led 100 works – and that this updated version has significantly better effects and properties on paper, can’t go wrong. I’m really looking forward to this! Will check back in a couple of months! :)

Hey Tekla! 🌸 Thank you for writing a review of the product, but it's a shame it didn't become a favorite for you 🧡 Some BUS products have a warm undertone (very red/yellow) that doesn't suit all skin tones. This can result in an orange look, especially on light skin. Maybe you need a different BUS that suits your skin a bit better, and there are a few other options to choose from. If you want tips on something that might suit you better, we're at fraga@lyko.com 📧 Have a nice day 🌞

    Easy application

But it leaves a shiny surface, "is it sweat or is it sunscreen?", said a man. I don't care. This is one of the few that comes in a spray bottle and is so easy to apply.

Super great, but wouldn’t call it a ”mist”

So, I like it because it’s easy to apply and absorbs quickly into the skin. But how could it be possible to use over makeup when it’s so white and ”sticky” (before it absorbs). I have it on when I’m outside working on the farm or in the woods because I don’t want to use dirty hands on my face. I know people claim it doesn’t cover enough but that’s not true. It provides great protection, just as promised by the manufacturer. Still always a made-up story about it needing to be cream. Old wives' tale. We know this from when we’ve missed ”spraying up to the right on the face” or similar and then just got red right there, despite sharp spring sun from morning to evening and just one application. 5 out of 5 but still a 4 because it could have been more of a mist, now it’s just an SPF in spray form. But that’s on the other hand what I’m looking for. I’ve used this kind for a couple of years.

    Natural result

It gives thicker and separated lashes and doesn't flake. I have been super satisfied, BUT it doesn't give the wow factor that I've experienced with other mascaras. But the best waterproof one I've tested, still.

    Old favorite

This has been on the market for a long time now, and I usually use it now and then. Did it recently, and here is the result. You need to bleach your hair pretty light beforehand, not just light yellow preferably, if you have dark blonde hair. I wish there was something even more effective on the market, but there isn't. I've tested. So I give it full marks after all. The color holds pretty well afterwards. I like it. :)

    Best on the market

No matter how many you test, it's still Manic Panic that gives the most even results. 😁

    Best for preventive purposes

Moisturizing 3/5 (for dry lips, you need balm even on the lip contour, [at least I think so, having lived with a tendency for suuuper dry lips since childhood] and that can't be done with colored balm.) Color 4/5 Stays in place 4/5 Use as lip balm, nja. But for preventive purposes, on just the lips: yes. Have still bought it repeatedly so I'm not dissatisfied, after all :)

    Used for almost two years

I was convinced that this well-known, iconic eye cream WOULD work. I used the same eye cream for two years, never been so loyal to a skincare product. But it didn’t do a thing for me – it was also proven as soon as I switched to another eye cream (which unfortunately isn’t sold at Lyko) that costs a sixth of this. Suddenly, I was so smooth and nice around the eyes, in a snap. I’ve never given a product such a low rating ever. But I mean… I have nothing good to say about it. At all. Expensive and lays on like a greasy film.
