Airy-Light Invisible Sun Stick
I’ve been so lucky to test Cosrx’s Airy-Light Invisible Sun Stick ☀️🩵 As a big fan of K-beauty and Cosrx, I naturally had high expectations for this. Sunscreen is an absolute must in my skincare routine, no matter the weather. The packaging is just so cute and practical! I love the little color play on the lid – it’s very subtle but still adds a lot to the overall impression 🩵 And it’s compact enough to fit in my bag, which makes it perfect to carry around for reapplying sunscreen throughout the day. My first impression was that it felt so incredibly light on the skin. It glides nicely over the face when applied and doesn’t feel sticky! + it leaves no white cast. PDRN Serum
I’ve been so lucky to get to test Cosrx’s PDRN Serum 🧡 First, I just want to start by saying I love the color choice on the packaging of this line 🧡 I’m a big fan of K-beauty and Cosrx. And I’m well familiar with this line already, as I’ve already run out of my own products. The serum has a light texture. It’s a bit thicker than the toner in the same line, but still light and absorbs nicely without feeling sticky. Since I have several steps in my skincare routine, I love that it’s a light serum and I can finish with a slightly heavier cream now in the summer. The skin gets a nice glow, becomes hydrated, and feels soothing 💧 Great that it comes in a pump bottle so the product isn’t exposed to bacteria. The main ingredient in this line is PDRN, which is extracted from salmon DNA (often sperm cells). And yes, it sounds scary, but compared to snail slime, it puts things into perspective. I’m totally hooked on this ingredient, and it seems like my skin is too. It generally feels much fresher and looks healthier. PDRN is known to promote cell renewal, strengthen the skin barrier, and reduce inflammation. I also think the bottle is large for a serum, as they often come in 30ml bottles. PDRN Hydrogel Eye Patches
I’ve been so lucky to get to test Cosrx’s PDRN Hydrogel Eye Patches!💧🧡 First, I just want to start by saying I love the color choice on the packaging of this series 🧡 I’m a big fan of K-beauty and Cosrx. And I’m well familiar with this series already, but I wasn’t aware they had eye patches in the same series, and I got so excited to test them right away! I love eye patches 🤩 They’re incredibly comfortable to wear and have a lovely, cooling effect! Tip: place them in the fridge for an extra cooling effect. ❄️ I actually tested an eye patch on my partner. He also commented on the cooling effect, and we left it on for about 10 minutes. The biggest difference we saw was when we took it off and compared it to the other eye. He looked SO much more awake, his “bag” under the eye appeared smaller, and we also thought he got a generally more even skin tone. He also got a nice glow, and now I’ve involuntarily recruited him for all future eye patch sessions! 😂🧡 I see a difference on myself after using these eye patches, of course! I’ve been so lucky to get to test Cosrx’s PDRN Toner. First, I just want to start by saying I love the color choice on the packaging of this series 🧡 I’m a big fan of K-beauty and Cosrx. And I’m well familiar with this series already, as I’ve already run out of my own products. The toner has a light and watery texture that absorbs quickly without feeling sticky. It’s a perfect first step in the skincare routine, as it hydrates well without weighing the skin down too much from step 1 💧🧡 Since you want to have hydrated skin before you start with serums etc. The skin gets an immediate boost and looks fresher right away. I have been so lucky to test LYKO’s own straightener🌸 I want to start by saying that my hair quality is extremely poor. I haven’t cut my hair in over 2 years and have treated it very badly. My hair is very stiff after several rounds of bleaching and tangles easily. When using this straightener, I also used LYKO’s Heat Protection Spray accordingly! (lyko.com/no/by-lyko/lyko-beat-the-heat-200-ml2) First impression is that it comes in a very cute packaging and color🌸 You can adjust the temperature on the device from 120 to 220 degrees inside. I set mine to 180 degrees and wanted to show that you don’t need the max temperature to achieve the desired result. The heating also felt fast. It went great to straighten my hair! I also tested making a few curls with it, and it worked well. But I wish it came with a heat-protective glove for this, since the straightener can get hot. Overall a good straightener🌸 I wish the package also included a small heat-protective mat/container that you can safely place the straightener on during styling and after for cooling down. I have been so lucky to test LYKO's own Heat Protection Spray 🌻 I want to start by saying that my hair quality is extremely poor. I haven't cut my hair in over 2 years and have treated it very badly. My hair is very stiff after several rounds of bleaching and tangles easily. I am very pleased with the result the product gave. Large bottle with a lot of product (200ml) at an extremely good price!💸 The hair did not get greasy and it didn't feel weighed down. The spray bottle was easy to use. My hair became super nice and soft, had significantly less frizz, and it regained its shine. It doesn't show that well in the pictures, but the result is much nicer in reality. The hair even felt thicker.☀️ I also want to emphasize that if you are a frequent user of heat tools/blow drying with hot air, using heat protection actually makes a big difference over time. Lots of moisture
I have been so lucky to test The Ordinary's Natural Moisturizing Factors + Phytoceramides moisturizer. The formula is designed to strengthen the skin's moisture barrier using natural moisturizing factors (NMF), skin lipids, and plant-based ceramides. These ingredients are supposed to help bind moisture in the skin, reduce dryness, and give the skin a fuller and more hydrated appearance. I have been testing this cream for a while now, and my first impression is that it has quite a thick and rich texture. It feels nourishing on the skin, but is also economical in use! The cream is unfragranced and has no distinct scent, just a mild “cosmetic scent” that fragrance-free products generally have. Another big plus is that it comes in a tube. It is more hygienic than creams in a jar, as you avoid getting bacteria from fingers or nails into the product. All in all, a good and moisturizing cream at a nice price, especially if you want a richer cream that helps keep the skin hydrated throughout the day. Lip Exfoliator
I have been so lucky to test this product from The Ordinary. It is a chemical exfoliating lip serum with PHA (polyhydroxy acid) that is supposed to help remove dead skin cells and make the lips smoother and softer over time. At the same time, it also contains moisturizing ingredients that are supposed to help keep the lips hydrated. The product itself is thin and runny, which makes it a bit difficult to apply. The applicator does not make it easy to "spread" the product over the lips, as it comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. So I often ended up using my fingers to distribute it evenly on my lips, but the consistency really works against you. It is hard to dose the right amount, and because it was so runny, it dripped a little into my mouth over time - not a pleasant taste! I experienced a bit of stinging upon application, but nothing that felt uncomfortable – and that is quite normal since this is actually an exfoliating product. If you have very dry or cracked lips, it might feel a bit more, so be careful! The product should be applied and allowed to absorb without being washed off, which feels a bit unusual for an exfoliator. I didn’t notice any special results after use, but it could be the fault of the season. I really like the products from The Ordinary, and some of my staple products come from there - and their price range is unmatched. The idea behind this product is interesting, but for me, the applicator and consistency could have been a bit more user-friendly. Plumping serum
I have been so lucky to test this serum from The Ordinary. I am not on "Tik-Tok", but as far as I understand, this is a viral product there. However, I don't know anything about the product beforehand. When I was about to use it, I actually missed clearer guidelines on the packaging about how it should be used best. Recommended areas where it should be applied, and if there are areas to avoid. But also clearer information about what the product's function is. The idea behind the product is exciting! And I am eager to test it, but I must admit that I found it a bit difficult to use in practice. It doesn't come with an applicator, and the container makes it hard to control the amount of product that comes out, suddenly a lot just came out. And for a serum that is meant for quite precise application, in my opinion, it feels impractical. I tested the product on my lips since it is an area many would like a bit more “plumping” effect. The product was very runny, and almost a bit oily. But I can't say it gave much of a result, unfortunately. It tingled and burned a bit, as expected, but it’s possible I used the product wrong. I know from experience that lip plumpers can irritate and redden the skin, so I was very skeptical about using this plumping serum on my face. In general, I am a big fan of products from The Ordinary and think they deliver good quality for their price range. 903 Medium Glow
I was lucky to test L’Oréal Paris Lumi Glotion, and it gave a nice glow to my skin. I applied the product to half of my face and asked my partner if he saw any difference – and the first thing he commented on was that the side with the product had a «nice glow» ✨ The glow looked healthy and fresh. As for the color, 903 was unfortunately a bit too dark and warm for me. I have a very light skin tone with cool undertones, and both my partner and I agreed that the shade didn’t quite fit. For my skin tone, it would have been better with a shade lighter. The product had very little coverage. Despite being marketed as a foundation-like glotion, the coverage is almost non-existent. Personally, I like this a lot, as it gives a very natural result. But when I built up the product in areas where I wanted more coverage, the result became patchy, as the foundation got darker where more product was applied. As shown in the picture of swatches marked (1) «much» product, (2) less amount of product, and (3) the result of the product that was left on my finger after the other two, so very little amount of product. I’m sure this wouldn’t have been a problem if I had tested a shade that was better suited to my skin tone.
