    Base coat and top coat?

    Hi! I use this as a nail strengthener since my nails are soft. I want to try colored nail polish, so I thought I could use this as a base coat but also as a top coat. Can I do it by first applying this nail strengthener, then colored nail polish, and finishing with the nail strengthener again? Does it work?

      Hey Gerd!👋😊 The nail strengthener can be used over nail polish as a protective layer, but it works best directly on clean nails🫧 If you use it over nail polish, it primarily acts as a protective top coat. It can then help the nails feel stronger and the nail polish last longer, even though it cannot penetrate to strengthen the nail's structure. If the goal is to give the nails a surface reinforcement rather than treating the nail itself, it can still be useful to improve it!😊🙌 Take care!✨

    You get stronger nails, but the nails look yellow and don't look nice at all!

      Hello Frida 🤗 Great that the nails got stronger. But a bit silly of course that they turned a little yellow, maybe it works better if you often paint your nails in some color since this works well as a base coat 💅
