Good BHA Toner
As a test pilot, I got to try this toner for about two and a half weeks. The toner contains 2% BHA, is fragrance-free, and the packaging feels sleek, fresh, and nice. 🤍 I have somewhat dry and very sensitive and reactive skin. I applied the product on a cotton pad and swept it over my neck and face. I apply it after washing, and before serum and cream. 🧴💦 The toner exfoliates the skin. It makes the skin clear, exfoliated, smooth, and is supposed to reduce pore size. I find it lovely to use, the skin feels clear, smooth, and fresh. I feel fresh, hydrated, and really wonderfully clean! 🌟 I tested it carefully at first, and when my skin didn’t react, I used it every day for a week. At first, it went great, but I noticed it was a bit too often for my sensitive skin. My skin reacted a little, so I had to pause using it for a few days. Applied it again today, and will use it a few times a week. 🩵 It will be fun to continue trying it! Maybe I’ll update the review when I’ve used it a bit longer. BHA toner
I have tried Emma S 2% BHA Toner and think it works well for the skin. The skin feels cleaner, smoother, and I also experience that it gives a nice glow after use. One downside, however, is that I find the skin becomes quite dry and starts to flake, especially if I use it too often. I started with three times a week but then had to scale back. Therefore, you need to be a bit careful with how often you use it and moisturize the skin properly afterward. A BHA toner that doesn’t feel drying, even on dry skin!
I’ve been testing this for about three weeks now as part of my new skincare routine, and I have to say I FINALLY feel like I have a routine that feels both luxurious and that my skin actually thrives with! ✨ What I’ve been especially curious about with this toner is the BHA acid and its ability to exfoliate the skin, dissolve impurities, and work deep in the pores. For me with dry skin, it’s important that my skin doesn’t feel tight or dry afterward – and that’s exactly where I think this has worked really well! Even though it’s an active product, my skin still feels hydrated and comfortable. I took before and after photos during the test period and to be completely honest: after three weeks, I don’t see a huge visual difference yet when I compare the photos. But since the product is supposed to work on skin texture, impurities, and pores, I also think three weeks is quite a short time to draw any big conclusions. What I can say already is that my skin feels really good, and I think the toner has been a really lovely addition to my routine. Clarifying 2% BHA Toner 150 ml
I had the honor of being a test pilot for three products from Emma.S. My first impression was that it felt extra luxurious that the products were in nice boxes and not just loose in the box. Always fun to have something extra to open. I think the products feel and look well-made and fresh. Nice to have standing on a shelf and not hidden in a drawer 😅✨ I have combination skin and don’t have very large pores, but I feel that my face feels cleaner after use. I apply the product on a cotton pad and swipe over the face and on areas around and on the nose and forehead where I have pores. I don’t notice any change but that’s probably because they aren’t that big. I also don’t react to the product even though I have slightly sensitive skin. Maybe I get a little red but it goes away quickly. Love the feeling of how clean the skin feels after use ✨ Overall, after using all three products, I feel like I have a nice glow, the face feels clean and fresh, and I also notice a reduced redness that I easily get on my cheeks due to internal and external influences. Cleans but greasy
Assignment through #lykotestpilot. The packaging feels sleek because it is simple and appealing. The gray color fits a series that says Bye Bye Pores! The product itself feels a bit thicker than a regular toner. Not watery but not oily either. Used it after cleansing on a pad, swiped the product over the face. You can see on the pad that it removed a lot of dirt! So, it definitely removes a lot of gunk and cleans well, but afterwards it leaves a greasy/oily/shiny film on the face, which I don’t like! I wiped my face with a towel after using the product. Used it first 2 times a week and then 3 times a week. Unfortunately, I got more breakouts (acne) from it. No big pimples but small, annoying breakouts. 🌋 Overall, I like the product considering you can see it removes impurities. But since I got acne and kept getting it from use, and the product feels oily, I don’t really like it. I also see no difference in the pores, they remain and maybe have even become more/larger. I have had the chance to try this toner for a few weeks now. My first impression was the sleek bottle. I have combination skin. It’s supposed to deeply cleanse, so I was extra interested in trying it out to see if it really did. I love this toner; it has a slightly oily texture and feels so nice on the skin. And it really cleans deeply. I didn’t need to get used to it like many say. For me, it’s perfect for my skin type. My face feels more hydrated and so much fresher. Good toner that does what it’s supposed to!
I’ve had the honor of testing this toner and I absolutely like it. It feels nice and fresh on the skin, absorbs quickly, and I didn’t experience any irritation. The skin gets a nice glow after use, and I also think my pores look somewhat smaller. I think the product really does what it says it will, and I’ve noticed a positive difference. I would definitely recommend it, but maybe not to you if you have very dry skin like me, but rather for slightly oilier skin that has a greater need for what the product does. I myself don’t have that many blackheads or dead skin cells. On me, some areas became quite dry after using it a few times, so I needed to pause a bit and combine it with a really moisturizing cream. Drying
I have used this toner for a few weeks and it was a bit too strong for my skin. It dried out and could sting a little on drier areas. I took some of the product on a cotton pad and swept it over my face, and then my face felt a bit tight. Therefore, I only used it on my nose, and it worked well there. Worked for me!
I've had the honor to try some skincare products from Emma S 🩷 My first impression of the product was very positive because the packaging is sleek and feels solid in the hand. The fragrance-free formula feels clean and gentle right from the first use 💙 The product is easy to apply with a cotton pad and absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving any sticky residue. What sets this toner apart is the combination of 2% BHA acid and 1% willow bark extract, which effectively cleans deep down, while plant-based propanediol prevents the skin from drying out, which is awesome!! I really think it lives up to the promise of "Clean pores, clear skin." I have combination skin that easily gets clogged pores and blackheads but can also become dry on the surface if I use too strong acids. Since this toner is fragrance-free and contains moisturizing ingredients, it actually suits my skin type perfectly without causing irritation. I've read other reviews and seen that it's not that popular, but after regular use, my blackheads have decreased and my skin texture has become significantly smoother. Toner where the little extra is missing
I have dry skin and therefore have not used BHA. But as a test pilot, I tried this one. I started carefully using it once a week as my skin became red. I have since increased the "dose" to every other day but unfortunately do not notice any major difference in the pores. Ingredients
Treatment 2 % BHA Toner is an effective leave-on exfoliation with 2 % BHA acid and 1 % Willow Bark extract, which deeply cleanses your skin by dissolving blackheads and removing dead skin cells. Contains moisturising ingredients that add moisture to the skin. Regular use keeps your skin in balance and makes in clean, clear and fresh. Suitable for all skin types.
After cleansing, apply the desirent amount on a cotton pad and wipe over face and neck. Do not rince off. Moisturise the skin and apply a high UV protection if you use the product during the day. Let your skin get used to the product by only using it 2-3 a week. If irritation occurs, rinse off and use less frequent. Avoid contact with eyes.
